More seriously the Republicans would have to reform themselves again to clear the raised margin of fraud, maybe figure out how to sell their ideas to the kind of people who take jobs like poll work. The problem is that both politics and job choice are driven by personality, which means that whatever party represents the will of PTA moms, HR workers, schoolteachers, and other busybodies has a massive advantage. This would probably require some kind of paradigm shift, because currently most people have this general impression that everything white people did between 1500 and 1960 was evil, so any party that tries to conserve the institutions of a country founded in that period is essentially trying to fight popular sentiment.

I think the latest incarnation of the noble savage myth being popular in academic circles since the 1920s is probably the cause of this taking root in the 60s, it needed that time for its implications to filter out into the broader public consciousness (by having scholars who believed it write textbooks &c.). A lot of woke bullshit is based on the sentiment that the world was basically the garden of Eden before the White Man raped it all and left everyone with Piss Earth. The myth fallen out of favour in those circles after 2000 (mostly because archaeology revealed that Hobbes was right about primitives) , so we've probably got a little time before the implications of this fully diffuses into the public consciousness, with the internet speeding it up.

If the name of the game is bullshit electoral rules then let the retardness begin, mandatory voter id in-person only for all red states, no more popular vote winners, open carry on counting centers, history exam for all registrations so aliens don't vote.

This sounds corny, but I recommend putting your faith in something that is a constant, whether it’s your friends, family, god, or whatever is most comfortable. Just make sure that it’s a constant and not something that can change at the blink of an eye. Humanity has gone through some very tough times throughout history, and we just happen to be in one of them. As a species, we’ve survived massive wars, crashed economies and various dictators. If there is no hope for better days, then life doesn’t become worth living. Find one constant in your life and hold onto that.

I've got so many adult diaper, AARP, life alert, colostomy bag, Matlock, Viagra, and various other old person jokes queuing up in my head and ready to go.
Its going to be a wide open playground as the media will be too busy polishing his wrinkly ass to ever question him and none of the "comedians" will ever make them. Not to mention shit is getting stale recently (was fine after the election but then it all devolved into boring old wojak shit). With any luck after the honeymoon period some of the (non super crazed) lefty types might even join in. We got a brand new opportunity of rib poking shenanigans.
