I think it's the latter, as that would then fall into the whole "transwomen are women, like black women are women"-trope.


A lot of all the "right-on" people I know fucking hate this book, so I'm guessing it's a good read. I just started "The End of Gender" by Debra Soh and only a few chapters in, but she's a great writer and I am itching to finish it.

He's actually right, anyone has the right to refuse to consent to being touched/examined by anyone for any reason (unless you get arrested maybe but even then they gotta be careful), if you want to refuse consent to a medical exam because the only people available to do it aren't suitable to you, that's your prerogative. I have no idea why "someone who has had an abortion" is the example here, that makes zero sense. If a health care worker refuses to answer a personal question like that (which they should), and you then refuse to let them examine you because you aren't comfortable, it's still absolutely your right. Mentioning abortion is a really dumb non sequitur that makes it hard to understand his point, but in terms of consent he isn't wrong.

The same way if you're on a blind date you catfished with shoops and they ask "wtf, are you a fucking troon?" and you refuse to confirm or deny, they have the right to tell you to fuck off and leave.

Jimbo seems to be confusing the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) with the Equality Act.

The ERA, introduced in 1923, is a constitutional amendment that would establish equal rights on the basis of biological sex. The Equality Act, a relatively new piece of legislation that Biden has promised to pass in his first 100 days, is basically the Troon Act that codifies into law rights based not on biological sex but gender identity.

The ERA:

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled (two-thirds of each House concurring therein), That the following article is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which shall be valid to all intents and purposes as part of the Constitution when ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission by the Congress:
"ARTICLE —
"Section 1. Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
"Sec. 2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

Does this law even change anything except let people know their options? I’ve asked for female doctors several times for no other reason than my comfort level and I’ve never had a male Dr. throw a hissy fit. The only time I couldn’t get one was when there were none on staff at the moment and the doctor took it upon himself to get a female nurse to stay with me because he was a good doctor, not an asshole.
I’m also pretty sure the US has some OBGYN clinics that specifically cater to the anti-abortion crowd, so yeah, pretty sure consent can be withdrawn for whatever reason the person likes.

Yes, it's a quite expansive law.

First, they don't just have the right to refuse examination, they gain a positive right to a medical team of the preferred sex.

Second, they don't need to suffer a bonus govt-sponsored sexual assault attempt and have to reject sus maybe-troons by sight, the gubmint has to send in real women.

Third, there aren't enough female examiners so more need to be trained and the health minister promised 1M GBP for that.

Fourth (unrelated to troons), involving the police is not a prerequisite of getting an examination anymore, so the evidence is not lost and a woman can get some support and take a concrete step toward bringing the rapist to justice before having to talk to potentialy unfriendly cops.

I don't get it. Even if you could force everyone to fuck troons, people would still be disgusted by the act. Would you want to have sex with someone who really isn't into it and does it only because you are going to ruin their life if they decline? People can't just turn off their repulsion even if it hurts your fee fees.

There’s a video of Sky on the TranSanta instagram. It’s worth documenting that this “charity” is putting up a video and identifying info for an 11 year old girl, two years under Instagram’s user age restriction, and with no confirmation that her parents are aware and have allowed it. Her picture was posted for that reason, not to make fun of her. Arguably she’s in less danger getting posted here than she is on Instagram.

We discuss children in troon docs and tv shows all the time, most recently the 4 yo featured in the HBO doc. These kids’ info is out there whether we document it here or not.
