The guy is 'Gabrielle' Darone. I'd love an update too, I haven't been able to find anything.

If I can decode his tortured logic, either he's saying a) it's ok to say no to anyone person examining you for whatever reason, or b) it's not OK for someone to violate a troons privacy by not consenting. I think it's the latter, as that would then fall into the whole "transwomen are women, like black women are women"-trope.

A lot of all the "right-on" people I know fucking hate this book, so I'm guessing it's a good read. I just started "The End of Gender" by Debra Soh and only a few chapters in, but she's a great writer and I am itching to finish it.
