People are worried because in the past decade there's been an exponential increase in particularly young girls presenting to clinics with gender dysphoria, and because of the craze said clinics are pushing irreversible, experimental "treatments" on a population whom older follow up studies suggested that without intervention 80%~ of would overcome dysphoria post-puberty (I would put money on that number being higher today). Many of these girls also have other comorbidities (and are therefore otherwise vulnerable) like autism spectrum disorders, eating disorders, etc. Or they're just not straight.

Last time I checked "rock and roll music" didn't sterilise vulnerable teenage girls or leave them with a lifetime of unpredictable side effects including but not limited to osteoporosis, heightened cancer risk and heightened risk of heart disease (FTM hormone replacement is much more damaging than MTF hormone replacement, and much more irreversible, plus FTMs are more likely to undergo surgical intervention with top surgery). Your last statement is dumb as shit, of course parents are worried about their kid daughters wanting to mutilate their bodies in higher numbers than ever before and the medical establishment jumping to enable them.

Because they're being lied to and groomed. It's not like they actually know what the horse piss will do to them. Anyone can walk into a clinic and walk out with pills to sterilize you in under 5 minutes. There are 2-3 year olds that are put on hormone blockers as well, Jazz Jennings is a good example. He was a faggot that was forced to transition from a young age. These clinics don't even tell people the risks associated with these treatments, You can watch the JRE interview with Shrier for more information.
 
A lot of FtMs transition because they have been sexually assaulted in the past or think its a way to escape the shitty parts of being female. I don't know about you but I think it's logical to have more empathy with that than with some 43 year old autogynephile.

This used to be true, but not anymore. In the study here, they have found that there has been a hugely disproportionate number of girls now seeking treatment for gender dysphoria.

Look I love my grandparents but nobody who is 57 is “cute.” It’s too old to be any sort of normal cute and not old enough to be wizened elf cute. No actual 57 year old woman believes she is cute. She might be holding it together and thinking she looks good, well groomed, still fit, etc. But not cute.

I am annoyed when I see parents talking about how their daughters have been lured in by the trans menace!! and then they’re 26. Look, if your *adult* offspring is fucked up enough to transition, they always would’ve had issues. If it wasn’t being trans it would be anorexia or casual sex with hobos or heroin or some other shitty life choice that’s common to useless, BPD 20 something chicks.
