Yup. At least with Greta, one could make a valid argument that her childhood was stolen. Two crazy ass parents making their autistic daughter deathly afraid of climate change since she could talk, and then forcing her to be a climate change activist rather than a regular kid, yeah, that sounds like a "stolen" childhood to me.
But Ava is just being a dramaqueen. His parents didn't steal his childhood. His "proof" that he was always a girl is that he like some feminine stuff, and he had trouble making friends as a kid. Wow, totally proof you're a girl! It's not, you know, proof that gender roles are restrictive and that growing up can be hard.
