with a household income of $100,000 per year (no idea if this is right), for $1,300/month. If you want a bronze plan it can drop as low as $558/month. Bronze plans are hell though, the deductible was $12,600. Fuck that shit. You only go bronze if you're a single adult with no health problems and need hospitalization covered if your appendix explodes or something.
It's possible that Faith's parents had a bronze plan and had a retardedly high 10k-12k deductible. This would explain them paying 10k instead of putting it on health insurance. But, it's
specifically different because they're
self-employed.
First of all, you get no tax credit. Full stop. The state WILL make you pay all of the premium with no financial help, so forget the income thing. Business owner insurance prices and normal insurance prices are not the same.
Second: The Vickers run their own business and this puts them into a situation where, essentially, the insurance company forces you to pay into your own money pool for only your own business and your own employees. I don't know how many employees they have but, unless you have a business with 30 or 50 or more employees, the costs are astronomically higher than just a normal plan. To make matters worse, they (the ins. co.) have full ability to raise your premium costs if you use the plan too much. Yes, this is real. There are horror stories of parents running small mom and pop places, they have 2 or 3 employees, suddenly someone gets cancer and EVERYONE'S insurance premium becomes $6000.
We have a health insurance system that punishes small businesses fucking brutally for no reason (other than stupid politically-motivated regulations).
Third: You pretty much have to buy these high price obamacare plans (as a self-employed) if you want insurance that covers any mental health services. Try finding it outside of obamacare (I can't.) Also, even if your plan covers it, it may not cover out of state, may have restrictions, so who knows. Not to mention, mental health issues are sometimes covered by medicare and not insurance if they are severe enough. (Like shitzo, autismo)
tl;dr: self-employed get raped on health insurance and especially mental health care
More likely Ralph will an hero, not saying this being

, but keeping someone around with a personality disorder who's openly shown malicious and manipulative behaviors is a recipe for destruction.
Considering how drunk he is, I can tell you he's not cap[able of being emotionally/mentally supportive in any way, if that wasn't already clear from how shitty he was for released the child bride sex tape.
If Faith ruins his mental health and he an heroes, I won't be sad.
