I never said that you wanted sex ed I meant you could have a system to teach people about marriage like we have sex ed but instead you go straight to changing the age of consent which has to do with sex not necessarily marriage. And lowering the age of consent can lead to kids getting traumatized which can lead to oversexaulization which will not help with your little crusade against casual sex.

Wrong it's because you're being socially conditioned to conflate child with underage or minor which are both legal social constructs. If you grew up your entire life being told that god is real and god created you, imagine how shocking the theory of evolution would be. Imagine if you grew up your entire life being told that teenagers are child and there is something wrong with wanting to re-produce with them, imagine being told you're a sinner (pedophilia) for your natural urge to impregnate sexually developed women. No different from people being brainwashed to think their in-group preference (racism) is disgusting. All social conditioning that would have seemed insane just 100-120 years ago (5 generations).

Kids are already over-sexualized. Everyone is. My point in lowering age of consent is really simple. 14 yr old + 18 yr old > 14 yr old + 15 yr old. Latter is more likely to lead to marriage. This theorycrafting about 60 yrs olds fucking 8 years is a scare-tactic. We're really talking about young adults around high school age who are most impacted by age of consent.
