I'm not so sure. People he sees as Daddy, he usually leaves alone. See his treatment of Jim or how he made up with Fuentes as an example. If the person is bigger than him, they have access to contacts or money, he will gladly lay off. If he sees them or their audience as having no value, then he seems to go scorched earth.
 
If the interpretation is correct that Faith's parents flew all the way to DC to visit her, we might have a Vickers/Ralph confrontation after all. It's totally possible that they convince her to come home for good and accompany her to the Ralph family crackshack to collect her laptop and other belongings, to protect her from any possible violent outburst that could happen.

Oh both of them know exactly what's going on and are gracefully tongue and cheek playing to the crowd. Like PPP mentioned them so they can say they're able to comment on it because they're being mentioned. Rackets is the best at this because he will lay his dick on the table and say "I can talk to who I want and don't care about your internet fight".

He also has a very vested interest in the Kiwi Farms. He essentially has his own weeb wars thread but Russel Greer, his favorite lolcow, is covered extensively. Rackets is as true neutral as neutral can get, and I kind of love him for it.

I don't think Faith's dad was abusive per se, but based on what @gran_autismo said I absolutely think she was neglected. Lots of shitty & not-so-shitty parents with several kids will often treat the eldest like a live-in babysitter instead of another child that needs nurturing. When she needed her parents the most they dumped their young children on her & fucked around with their dumbass ghost hunting. So she got fed up, ran away from home, & found a new "daddy" that would give her lots of love & attention. Except, well. . .it's Ralph. He can't even pretend to like her fridge drawings. But now her parents are begging her to come home & now acting like they care, & that's all a girl like Faith wants, for parents to show they care instead of ignoring her like they usually did. So I think that's what inspired this change of heart.

Hopefully all parties learn their lesson & Mommy & Daddy put the kibosh on anymore runaway shenanigans.
