But she references things from a few months ago, deactivating an account or something, before this shitshow took off. From what we know of her she had a rocky relationship with her family, so maybe she is just trying to fix things with them regardless of the Gunt situation?

My instinct is that it's 'officially' a family thing - there's something going on that she had been unaware of, perhaps she didn't have the full context and overacted like a teenager would.

She'll get some sensible council from her parents, perhaps see how this was a reckless thing for a child to do, and the distance between them will help her see things for how they truly are.
