The removal of groups like LGBDropTheT from Reddit and the "make love to my sweet girl peen" crowd are pushing so many of the otlder gays and lesbians I know into seriously considering not just voting for, but running for a specific far right party in the country I live in. I've had conversations with many of them.

For a guy that claims to care about intergenerational trauma, he forgot that the situation in the USSR and other communist countries was so bad for Jews that there was an international relief fund dedicated to rescuing Russian Jews from the USSR. You couldn't try to leave either, if you applied for an exit Visa from the USSR, you were harassed by the KGB and your local community would be dedicated to harassing you and making your life miserable. The greatest heroes I have had the privilege to meet were Russian refuseniks who refused to give into Soviet oppression like Yosef Mendelovitch who attempted to hijack a Soviet aircraft to escape the USSR, his trial led to restrictions of emigration being temporarily lifted, and Natan Sharansky who spent 9 years in solitary confinement in a Soviet prison.
The only comfort I draw from their ideals is knowing that in the USSR, they would be the first to be disappeared no matter how fervent their belief in Communism really was. My family had a generation that fought for the Reds because they thought it would be better than what they experienced under the Tsar, all of the men who fought were murdered by the Bolsheviks once they took power. Only one fighting man from that generation survived and that's because when he was sentenced to death and awaiting execution, he was drawn to be the last one killed and as they were preparing to kill them, a messenger arrived commuting his sentence. Shit still happened under Stalin as well, not just in the early days. One of the founders of Israel, Mechachem Begin, was sentenced to a gulag for false crimes and wrote a book about it called White Nights. In it, he describes meeting Soviet Jews who were so dedicated to Communist ideals that they still praised the Soviet Union and its ideals despite the Soviet Union sentencing them to spend an indefinite time in a frozen hellscape where everyday was a new struggle to survive.
People like the twitter faggots above are the intellectual descendants of those prisoners who still believed in a country and ideals that despised them. They will discount everything I just described with "not real communism" and "this won't happen again" like lemmings who fell off a cliff, somehow survived, and goes back up the cliff to try again.

Nah, look closer at it. Someone on twitter discussed this, or maybe it was discussed earlier in this thread, I dunno, have a lot of tabs open. That's the mayor trying to take credit of that shit after the fact.

The feds swarmed in, did what they needed to do, and left, and didn't tell the mayor or any of the locals. They came in on Thursday and left on Tuesday, and in the interim the Seattle locals unleashed the Police and the police brought the hammer down on the commie fucks in their city. The feds were already gone when the mayor was told about it. They didn't even bother telling the mayor they were leaving.

Normally the feds will do a joint presser afterwards to let the locals save face. Or at least give them a sound byte to quote. They didn't even do that. The feds completely ghosted the locals in Seattle, and they're pissed about it.

The fact they did that is very telling. The Feds knew Durken wouldn't play along since she's a terrorist sympathizer so they're not even giving her the dignity of trying to claim credit. Good. Fuck her. She abandoned her duties as mayor to placate a bunch of commie domestic terrorists, she deserves to have egg on her face.

Amazon, Google, and Microsoft aren't going anywhere. They own so much of this state that moving is cost prohibitive. You know who's property isn't getting destroyed, shit on, or vandalized? Big Tech companies with private security armed ShadowRun CorpRunner style who will absolutely shoot people invading their property.

That's what we haven't seen. None of these antifa fucktards, who work at these places, go back to the company compounds and protest. If they did they'd be fired and the big tech companies would annex more land to expand their tax free zones. They aren't going anywhere due to the fact they can make people vanish and the local gov't sucks them off for pennies and asks for seconds.

How are we supposed to take any of this seriously when Dems literally say gatherings and protests are an egregious health crisis, but not if it’s BLM?

Amazon doesn't have to leave the state, just the city of Seattle. Which they've already started doing by moving a bunch of jobs to Bellevue. Microsoft doesn't have a significant (relative to the companies size) presence in Seattle. Bellevue is where most of the non-campus buildings are (campus being in Redmond).

Google beefed up a few buildings in Seattle, but has also been establishing presence in nearby Kirkland.

They can all, very easily just up and abandon Seattle while still remaining nearby within a short period of time if they feel the need to.
