Generally speaking, you don't fuck with people like this. It's why they bring guns to their transactions. As Trevor puts it, it's the mark of an terrible businessman...What's missing is the dealer getting killed behind this.
I believe the in story reason was that Stretch was setting Lamar up. Stretch sets the deal up with the Ballas, Lamar buys the key and makes a fool of himself to Chamberlain Hills gang, shit happens to him or something.

GTA V really didn't flesh the Lamar/Stretch conflict out very well when I've played through this multiple times and still need to think why everything happens the way it does.

I agree since the story was more focused on Franklin than on Lamar. It was always inferred that Stretch played both Franklin and Lamar, but really for what reason? Also why was this the case as well? That part of the story should have been fleshed out more as you said before.

TakeTwo is selling the next-gen version of 2K21 for $70 because of "development costs" with technology.

What does this have to do with GTA? Remember, R* is a subsidiary for TakeTwo. There's a possibility that GTA V will be resold for the next-gen for $70, although TakeTwo said they would go on a "title by title" basis for pricing.

I can see them charging them $70, since they are saying that next-gen will have "exclusive content" and improvements. And what about the PC version?

Certainly Xbox, but I think PlayStation as well will be able to play current gen games on the next gen consoles. So if they think they'll be able to squeeze $70 out of people for essentially the same experience as the XB1/PS4 version...

I think it was just that Stretch knows Lamar is a dumbass poser faggot and did it for shits and giggles. Like what is the lose situation here for Stretch?

Lamar gets cheated or Lamar gets killed

The only reason it went well at all for Lamar is because Franklin and Trevor just happened to come bye.

The average player is a consoomer, so even if R* releases a pretty basic version, with only revamped graphics, people will still buy the game again so they won't miss out the "great multiplayer experience" that is GTA Online, on PS5/Series X. And it's not only GTA btw, all games in general.

..And what about the PC version?
It'll get the content too.. My hope is that they at least fix the fucking load times.. But it's doubtful considering that they keep adding more and more content which means more dumb scripts needed to be loaded and running..

But would they increase the PC price to $70?

As soon as I get my PS3 up and loaded, I’m playing nothing but the Ballad Of Gay Tony/The Lost and Damned and GTA V. With all the things going on now, some virtual crime needs to be committed.

Plus I’m always a sucker for the cheat codes.

What's the best cheat code from any GTA game?

I remember spamming the tank code in GTA 3 to the point where traffic would stop spawning. To respawn traffic, use the All Cars Blow Up cheat. Quite loud.

If I recall correctly, GTA 2 is on the PS3 store via PSOne classic.

I've been listening to GTA 1 and 2's soundtracks recently. Fun fact, GTA 2 was the first GTA to include DJs with the radio stations.

It reminds me of action movies from the 70s. Very catchy. Hell, the font of Grand Theft Auto 1 looks like something from the 70s.

I'm glad they expanded the music with GTA 2. Techno, rap, pop, all of it is catchy. Underrated hidden gems from multiple radios. Head Radio.

They just announced the summer DLC.. Coming this Tuesday, Aug 11th.

The big thing is actually putting a use into owning a Yacht by having new Co-Op Missions.. But I'll be damned if I'm dropping 3 Million on another property, even if it's been in the game for so long..

The Casino will have some Adversary modes there.. Which no body will play unless there's a special for them..

New Vehicles are always welcomed.. But knowing RockStar.. They're going to be overpriced.. At least we're getting some new ones for Benny's so I'm a bit curious for those.

Open Wheel Racing is getting added to the track building tools..

No word on clothing for this update, which in all honestly.. Is the only thing I really ever care about with GTA Online Updates.. Can't wait for the rest of it to be added to FiveM though.

Well to be fair Trump tower is on the cover of GTA 1.

Not that I was even expecting it at this point, but nothing new for single player. No weapons. No clothes. No anything.

They didn't even update the appearance of the casino in single player in the last patch. It's still just a generic casino and not Diamond Casino.
