because going with that argument would imply that whether a tranny is a real woman or not depends simply on how advanced plastic surgery is in [current year] and thus it would open the door for trannies 10/20/30 years in the future to make arguments along the lines of "surgery has gotten much better, so now you have to admit that we're true and honest women!"
to me, even if surgeons could create picture perfect fake pussies that are visually indistinguishable from the real thing, trannies still wouldn't be real women. doesn't matter whether the frankenstein hole in their crotch looks like a festering wound or a nice and smooth pussy, they're still men larping as women.
it would be way beyond surgery, it would be scifi magic. turning one kind of tissue into a different kind of tissue, arbitrarily altering the shape and function of existing tissue, increasing or decreasing size and volume of structures without causing damage - it's all fantasy.

Is there an actual reason why gender dismorphia is not a mental disorder other than "because it's bigoted to think it is"? It seems like the literal definition of a mental disorder.

Mental disorders are clinical judgment calls, and the underlying physiopathology is unknown. They are made by expert consensus. Hence, if the psychiatrists say it doesn't count, it doesn't count.

also it's not really ever likely to be possible to reverse the effects of male or female puberty on a grown human being, let alone fix the process of sex differentiation that essentially was completed in the first trimester of gestation.
Trump literally just murdered all the trannies by pointing out that 6' tall 'women' with Adam's apples are actually men.
Also a lot of people don't have a very firm grasp on biology and just say 'if it's Y it must be a guy' or whatever.
It's like Caster Semenya was socialized as a girl, but then the testosterone in his brain released at puberty made him behave pretty much like a regular guy. If he hadn't gone through male puberty, then despite being XY and having internal testicles , he'd just 'be a woman'
Dr. Money thought that you could just raise children as girls or boys at a whim and it would work. He also did pedophilic experiments on his patients, so it's hard to tell whether the trannying of his patient led him to suicide or whether it was the fact he was a deviant pedophile sex fiend.

Men are different from women and not just because of movies and cartoons, but because testosterone makes you want to go out and fuck bitches. If you have an intact male dog you'll see the same thing, and they don't watch any Mel Gibson movies at all.
The problem with trannies is that a lot of them are sexual deviants and their brains are already shaped by male sexual deviance by the time they get around to thinking about being trannies. So trannying them out with Titty Skittles is just playing into their deviant sex fetishes, the same way as a pedophile gets off looking at little kids.

I'm reminded of Bill "Burger" Heineman, who was a contemporary of Bunten's, and still around at the edges of the retro gaming scene. Bill Heineman became Rebecca Heineman, and occasionally mentions how wonderful and accepting everyone was, except, oddly, his wife (fancy that). Rebecca Heineman wound up in a relationship / business partnership with one Jenelle Jaquays, who was also involved in gaming, more tabletop RPGs than video games. Jenelle Jaquays, by the by, used to be Paul Jaquays, and was responsible for some of the more beloved 3rd party AD&D adventures back in the early 80s. So you have two gay, mutilated men cosplaying as lesbians, and my ain't the world grand.
Oh, their biggest project I'm aware of was a remaster of The Bard's Tale Trilogy (Heineman did the lion's share of the work on the original release of BT3) that lagged so far behind schedule they lost the contract to another company that got it out in a few months and is still updating it today. Yolrawee said she is now seeking compensation from the clinic in Thailand, and has since visited a law firm in Nonthaburi, central Thailand.
She told lawyers that she had undergone gender reassignment surgery at a clinic in Bangkok in April last year but the result was botched.
Lawyer Ronnarong Kaewphetch said he would take on the case and believes the Yolrawee will receive compensation.
He said: "Initially, we have received the case and will summon the representative of the clinic here to negotiate the compensation for my client.
"But if the negotiations cannot be settled then we will take the matter to the consumer protection board.
"I believe that the clinic will compromise and pay for the compensation to save their reputation."

I have kinda, it's been from girls with serious vagina issues. What ever it's mental or physical some females have hard time having PiV sex.
