I think that's exactly what they expect. When little cis Timmy learns "men can have periods too!" he will come crying to Mommy and ask her when it will happen to him, she cannot tell him "oh, don't worry, it's only SOME men", because then we would have to define what makes those men different (meaning, they are female) and that is transphobic since trans men ARE men!!

I highly doubt its satire based on how apeshit some of them went. It is fascinating how outraged some of them are over an anime porn subreddit about girls having sex with girls banning dicks. Really reinforces how big a part porn plays in their "gender" aka fetish.
Looking over at /r/yaoi they don't seem to mention trans porn anywhere, but they did have some surprisingly funny memes

If someone suddenly wants some extreme change in appearance, then their "who they are" probably changed too. If your husband suddenly decides at 45 to have his whole body tattooed, then he probably isn't the same person you married. Especially if that change will drain your entire family budget.

There've been more horrific troon widow stories, but perhaps the most illustrative and high profile is Don/Dawn Ennis, the former network sports reporter who trooned out, reversed it— publicly blaming his wife Wendy for sissifying him— then trooned out again.

Don did all of this while his wife was dying of terminal cancer. He abandoned her and their three minor children, raped their savings, and then moved cross country to “find herself”. Thanks to Don’s high profile gig at ABC Sports, his transition back and forth got big play in the NYC and even national media. He now runs OutSports and claims he breastfed his son, in spite of the kid being six years old at the time Don trooned out.

This based wifey did the right thing and saved herself a lot of fucking headaches.

And also, if they don't have intimacy with their dressed partner, often that dressed partner will spend "alone time" as their "alter." So it's like being cheated on, but he's cheating with himself. Very difficult to wrap one's head around, that one.

eta: regarding doctors performing cervical cancer screenings, one cheeky ObGyn should come back and say, "Yes, we see that you have precancerous cells and must use a nitrogen wand to burn them off." Let's see how far they really want to take their charade :)
