I was trying (and failing) to remember Harnaam Kaur, she made the news a few years back because she has PCOS and grows a beard. Since she's sikh and not supposed to cut her hair, she decided to stop waxing her face and just let her beard grow.

Women like her are usually used as an excuse in woke circles to say "see?? Women have body hair too! Women can grow BEARDS!! So it's okay if a transwoman has a beard 'cause this one cis woman has a beard!!!!"

Except Harnaam's case is incredibly rare and 99% of women couldn't even dream of growing a beard that big. It's not even "natural," it's a side effect from a disability. The average man could probably grow a beard that long in a few months, and it would keep on coming. For what it's worth, to pass as a woman, transwomen have to try incredibly hard to be at the bare minimum level of "yeah okay that looks like a woman," that's why all the troon lolcows in this forum look like crap, because they think one or two women not shaving or having super rare hair disorders gives them a free pass to not try at all, ignoring the fact that even the hairiest woman looks more like a woman than the most shaved, most waxed, most laser-hair-removal'ed transwoman out there. It's not fair, but I mean...c'est la vie.

also yeah I think you can technically thread a beard. I don't see a lot of guys getting it done, though, at least not around here.

Unfortunately, the 41% statistic is from a single study talking about transgender people who self-reported as having attempted suicide. It's a very unreliable number.

The actual suicide rates are far lower, since a lot of suicide attempts are not meant to end in death but instead to draw attention.

Honestly, I want to see the trans men make more aggressive pushes into the gay community. Take over subreddits, invade their local meet ups, claim neo prostate cancer etc. I think that would really add some nice fuel to the fire.

What do they want? If their "gender" is recorded instead of their sex that could lead to them being misdiagnosed or not receiving proper care, like that deathfat TIF whose baby died because she was listed as male on her medical records and the doctors/nurses didn't consider pregnancy as a possibility when treating her. But who knows, maybe miscarriage is preferable to misgendering in the troon mind.

And since listing them as a "transman" or "transwoman" instead of a regular man or woman is also verboten, I really don't see a feasible solution here. Should all actual men have to take pregnancy tests before surgery and get pap smears every three years so the poor little Aidens don't feel invalidated?

Imagine living with terrible gender dysphoria all your life, never feeling like you fit in or belong anywhere, not even in your own body. Eventually, your loved ones convince you to see a therapist who helps you realize you are a transwoman and for the first time in your life you feel at peace with yourself. Following this realization, you begin to look for others in a similar situation and that is when you stumble upon Reddit's transgender community and this monstrosity along with hundreds of other similarly horrifying troons.
I feel for the minority of trans people that are actually suffering from dysphoria and not just following a fetish/cult that went too far.

I wish that this kind of behavior was still considered a mental disorder. Wouldn't all these people be happier if they could feel normal the way they are? Calling crossdressing empowering is silly and not helping the real problem: people think they're something they're not. If I called myself King Arthur I'd get thrown in an asylum, but transsexuals are lifted up as if they were beyond reproach. It's sad.

I just had a thought, maybe I'm reading too much into this, but...

Could it be that they want to take those spaces away from women like little jealous fucks? And not just be a part of them? Like the whole "you've had access to this your whole life - NOW it's MY TURN on the screening machine?" - like that little annoying sibling you just want to slap?

Since they SHOULD KNOW that they don't need those and women REALLY need access to those? And they might even endanger women if they're taking up too many places so actual women's appointments get pushed further back etc?

The thought that healthcare here would probably even pay for those unnecessary procedures - therefore wasting money that's needed for REAL patients - as soon as they get their gender 'officially' changed makes me want to rage.
 
Wouldn’t a troon be at higher risk for breast cancer, due to all the estrogen? Men can get breast cancer so screening troons for it isn’t outrageous

Firstly, if she decided she wants to be with a cis-gendered man over a man larping as a woman, that's her choice. Secondly, bullshit. Almost every example I've seen of a married troon trooning out generally does involve the troon's personality getting worse. Usually getting more entitled and the wife having to walk on eggshells while the troon can say whatever he wants.

It looks like it was meant for futa (i.e. an XX women who has a dick for various reasons), not necessarily a statement about transwomen.
There was at least 4 different subs created in response to this, eventually the stuck with r/actualyuri which has about 40 members
