Wasn't there also a lot of hilarious shit about Paw's wife being an insane, asexual SJW who linked an article about how to prevent your kid from being a sex offender and felt the need to clarify that their son's biological gender was all that was determined by the ultrasound? Doesn't she even have a quote in the RTG?

How did that miss the /tv/ Guide?

She that vampire lady who used to work with the Nostalgia Chick? Never heard that before.

What's the story behind the on set accidents on Kickassia and To Boldly Flee?

A load of nothing really. Some people got minor sunstroke in Kickassia, and no injuries came out of To Boldly Flee as far as I've heard, however Surburban Knights had a trained martial artist land wrong and fracture his wrist or something apparently.

Two things... i really liked NC's new Zorro review, but anyhoo... what's da update about their quiz show? Werent they supposed to air a second episode fairly soon?

They were supposed to make 40 episodes of not only it, but two other shows too. They haven't even begun to fulfill their indiegogo pledge.

Did they announce the air dates? Or are they playing the Lucas game denying it's existance from now on?... I mean... it bombed, right?

The game show is supposed to be weekly:

"Initially, it will be a weekly game show revolving around questions from the 80s to the early 2000s."

The comic show and it were supposed to have pilot episodes like over a year ago. In fact:

"Our first game show set is nearing completion, and we are gunning for a test episode late next week.

The comic show will have a screen test sometime in the next two weeks."

I just have to say. remember when Doug had the voices for Pinky and the Brain voice his fanfic? I felt like he crossed a line with that one.

He had enough money to hire Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche but not enough to build a proper fucking studio or a green screen of a reasonable size?

Either those were soundalikes, or Doug's a massive retard who has no idea how to budget his money or prioritize his spending. Though there's no reason both can't be true.

Actually that was at a con they were at and Rob & Maurice did him a favor. Word was that Maurice liked his stuff and had no issue helping him out so to speak. Whether money actually changed hands is one thing but it's not the first time they've gotten "celebrities" to show up on the site.

Either those were soundalikes, or Doug's a massive exceptional individual who has no idea how to budget his money or prioritize his spending. Though there's no reason both can't be true.
Oh no, it cuts to them afterwards recording in the hotel room and it's definitely Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche. It's actually a pretty funny bit and they got somebody to animate part of it....

Too bad he couldn't have used a better mic. I'm going to assume that he used the on-board mic which would explain the sub par audio.

In defense of NC, that Pinky and the Brain section was actually making fun of people who thought that the Pinky and the Brain were splitting up. The fact that he used their actual voice actors is part of the joke I believe.

I like hiring a trained martial artist for your movie as opposed to a proper stunt man. Like no shit someone got injured if that's the case.

Tbh, a gameshow would be cool if the contestants were other reviewers, you know, like testing their trivia knowledge and such, instead of nobodys being asked by a snarky Brad.
Honestly no matter what direction it takes it sounds kind of wack.

Nah the trained martial artist is a friend of Doug's. He's been in a few of his other videos, the one where he appears the most is probably the Christmas special mocking It's A Wonderful Life.

The show was always gonna be a nightmare to put together if Doug was never gonna bother learning how to actually handle a professional production of any kind. Sort of like how Clerks was an utter disaster to put together because Kevin Smith didn't, and still doesn't, know how to direct or produce. Smith just got lucky he was picked up by Miramax, luck which nobody should count on and Doug is never gonna get.

A bit late, but here's the problem with JesuOtaku: SHE HATES SPOILING. It's okay if you don't spoil good anime like Summer Wars, but if Rise of Martial Hearts is that awful, why don't you spoil me how it ends? Do you want me to watch that piece of shit? In addition, you spoil another mediocre series in the review, so what's with your "No spoilers" policy? In addition, good analysis needs to have spoilers. If you want to do your take on the work, you have to accept that you have to reveal major plot points, don't you?
