I'd love to show this to my grandfather-in-law who spent 16 years partially in a gulag and partially in prison (his wife thought he was dead for several years) or my other grandfather-in-law who spent 2 years in the gulag and was severely beaten during his time there.

Not sure if the original poster is a goon but p sure they meant it for real. Tankies are another level of delusional and most of SA these days are tankies. It's the sweetest irony that were Stalin alive, he'd have them all disappeared.

Like a year and a half ago or something I featured a video by Million Dollar Extreme, a YouTube comedy group that is actually funny. One of the members, Sam, emailed me to thank me for the kind words. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago when he emailed me again asking if I'd mind reviewing another video and then sent me a list of candidates. I told him that since I find the stuff Million Dollar Extreme does to be quite funny, I'd do him one better and give them a featurette here on AwfulVision.

How to forget that in the following decade SA created a culture of being annoying fucks in videogames, especially survival ones like Rust and DayZ, that undoubtly boosted their popularity as well, even if it was just because some people didn't want to have their servers ruined and because those kind of "hive mind trolls" tend to be perma-onlines.
And thank God LowT and his site didn't see a penny from the cancer known as Let's Plays and streaming.

Gaming with goons was really the only fun thing out of that forum past 2010. Sure as fuck can't do it now, they politicize EVERYTHING. Friend of mine got banned from the Warframe goon guild and discord for being "transphobic".

The strange thing about Goons in Eve Online:
They would spew the most racist, homophobic, trash talk of any alliance in Eve. I've been out of it for years now, but I distinctly remember dozens of Goons sockpuppeting accounts due to their mains getting suspended/banned for trash talk in 'local'. Usually prior or during major fights.
I believe the Eve Goons are distinctly different than the SA Goons. I don't think the 2 cultures mixed much.
The Mittani apparently knows LowTax and I think LowTax played Eve for a short while.
