Mister Metokur wasn't a goon, he was a member of Metokur Forums and a close friend of the founder (Habermann) until he trooned out, thus his name after he dropped his New Atheist persona (Jim81Jim) and his Anti-SJW persona (Internet Aristocrat).
Metokur was just a poor man's SA anyway. The only thing i really remember was FilmsforFustilarians (Great Value© Retsupurae) and the inevitable spinoff into the busystreet.
No doubt to me personally that Metokur used to be a goon, and was probably one of the first people on 4chan. He's 38 right now, he would have been in his early 20s during the peak of SA. Would fit with how much he talks about the old days of the internet, the "wild west" days
The guy is old internet and has lots of random accounts. The idea of him having a SA account is neither farfetched or really important. They could easily just know eachother by reputation alone as well.

Perhaps if he's insistent enough, Rashaverak will be, eventually, taken seriously by some journo, especially, like you said, if he mentions stuff like Gamergate or any other 9/11s of the internet.
It's very likely Metokur was a goon. SA was massively influential back in the day and a lot of places like 4chan (directly) and ED (indirectly) spun off from the hyper-ironic shitposting culture that SA was ground-zero for. SA prior to 2008 or so was the vanguard of internet high culture to put it in the gayest way possible.
I know I'm hideously late for this but do these exceptional individuals realise using their wealth privilege to spite the white devils and elevate illegals makes people more likely to go right wing?
