Id like to think that most of them follow that rule "dont stick your dick in crazy" even if it's online. So even if things go on in their personal lives, I doubt anything would warrant a big fuss.
I think he also doesn't have the aura that attracts teenage twitter girls, unlike Vinny. His humour is less mature and more fecal (in a good way), he's more random and wild, and he doesn't look like their rock star dream daddy. So, Joel probably got somewhat less crazy fans obsessed with him and checking every part of his behaviour. Worst thing that could happen is another tranny getting triggered on helicopter-like joke, and Joel apologizing again for the sole reason to make that person fuck off, or even better ignoring it.
Not to really go into it, but it was a case of someone reading way too into stream and music shit and thinking it was related to them specifically. There's always going to be one of those fans go that way off the deep end thinking some entertainer or musician is talking or writing about them out of thousands of people.

I originally linked the tweet before I removed it. It felt out of place for what was being discussed on the thread at the time and was really bizarre. The girl in question apparently had a past in the Jabroni Mike community before Vinny approached her and talked to her in DM's. According to her streams, he had asked her if she'd date him (since she claimed to be in a polyamorous relationship) and she said no-- which lead to him and Mike cyberstalking her through brb music or something for two years? She also claimed that Vin wanted to be like David Bowie and hookup with underage viewers iirc (...?). I'd link the twitter, but it got permanently suspended and she's moved Twitch accounts. There's not really much digging up on her to do, since a lot of her claims were baseless and the timeline of events didn't add up from when I dm'd her.

i don’t wanna play armchair psychologist and say she has schizophrenia, but the amount of twitter rants she went on about this since February seem really delusional and REALLY hard to believe. Very paranoid behavior, and super creepy. I still have screenshots of the tweets, but I won’t post them here due to irrelevancy to the thread itself, though I can DM them with her name and @ erased.
