I've said this before, but Ralph wasn't able to understand what Josh was saying in that stream. Ralph makes enemies in a casual and pointless way, and I think it's because of his experiences with Mundane Matt.

I watched the Killstream before Bouldergate and it had it's momenta. It also had clip channels by loyal watchers that sorted out the wheat from the chafe. Ralph could be a good presenter when he was well prepared and when he had Zidan in the background.

Then there was Bouldergate, and Ralph I think misunderstood what happened. He classed it as an IBS event, but in reality it was kind of a fluke, you had metokur there, the Quartering, James Alsup, all of whom brought a huge audience, Matt seemed to be enjoying the attention and high profile, so got a bit too comfortable. Then Zidan came out of nowhere and Matt just rolled over.

Ralph was obviously drunk the whole time, it was Zidan that caught Matt, and Meokur that tore him apart for the audiences amusement.

Ever since that Killstream Ralph has tried to repeat the magic, but instead of finding more Mundane Matts , he instead keeps stumbling across PPP's, or Vordraks people that are more than happy getting down in the dirt with him.

Ralph is a shit magnet, that can't handle the A-logs he attracts. He doesn't have the ability to reflect on how he conducts himself or even just to sober up when he's on stream.

I meant to agree, sorry about that.

I think you're spot on about Ralph only being barely sentient enough to put together a show. Looking back and thinking, his co hosts probably did most of the setting stuff up, getting guests and the like. If Metokur and Allsup weren't on the bolder-gate stream, it wouldn't have got a third of the attention it got. IMO during the whole shitshow, they IBS crew were coming off the wet fart that was the warski-v-tonka fight that didn't happen... Them ripping on MundaneMatt got them a lot of attention, and I think the gunt thought all of the clout they had was due to him being a useless drunk.
 
Idk. The last week has been pretty good. I think he works well with Warski and when he can laugh at literal trash fires. But I just listen to a million podcasts because life is dull and I don't really care about the moral failings of the hosts.

IIRC it was toned down by comparison, but his thesis of "null man dumb" was identical.

Given how crunk I was when I remember it happening I'd guess it was at least 2 hours in, if not 3 or 4. I'll see if I can find it.

Disregard, it was the night before (American Carnage 2 + Kantbot on bitchute), initial barb at 1:37:50ish, 1:45:00 almost exactly for the extended rant for about 2-3 minutes. Gator also chimes in "we need to build a wall around Kiwifarms". :story:

I'm starting to wonder if it's possible Vordrak has been reaching out to Ralph behind the scenes (since Ralph has mentioned getting contacted by him before) and his sudden turn against Josh is less about being hurt over the stupid corn meme and more about him being afraid of Vordrak fucking with his income. The timing of all that has been going on has been highly suspect to me and Ralph & Co's seemingly unprovoked and organized turn on Josh over such a petty thing strikes me as him preemptively disassociating with Josh to avoid any potential financial suffering.

Maker's Mark is unusual in that no rye is used as part of the mash. Instead of rye Maker's Mark uses red winter wheat (16%), along with corn (70%) and malted barley (14%) in the Mash Bill.

I know you’re trying to make a joke, but bourbon legally has to be made with a majority of its mash being corn. The types of grain you use and their ratio infuence the flavor of the bourbon. Rye lends spicier, punchier flavor to bourbon while wheat usually makes it mellower or sweeter. To give more context to the bourbon sperging, bourbon in general is sweeter than a lot of other spirits due to corn being a requirement, which means that Maker’s Mark’s mashbill makes for an extremely sweet bourbon. I’d use it in coctails for that reason, but it’s fitting that a lardass like Ethan seems to drink it by the bottle. Maybe that’s why he started doing Woodford for while? It’s a good quality but inoffensive choice, and people wouldn’t blink at drinking it straight.

I think he’s just hoping a new grudge catches Gunty’s fancy at this point. Dick mostly did right by him before this, and Ralph didn’t cause problems outside of his circle until recently. Hard to try and mend bridges when an addict is laser-focused on how you apparently wronged him and a shared business associate is humoring him.
