They're acting like Trump is just popping pills without a doctor advising him, they seem more incredulous he's going against their big brains of quarantine panic. Concern troll better, media.

It's as if the media thinks that people don't know that the leader of a country, the USA especially, doesn't have access to some of the best medical minds and that possibly he consulted with them, weighed the benefits and risks, and wasn't (and still isn't being) examined to the Nth degree before taking and while on it. They talk as if he woke up and said, "What's these things in my medical cabinet? I guess I'll take two of these tic tacs!"

It must drive them nuts that not only does he talk the talk, but he walks the walk. And he's sitting up there doing fine.

From the comments I'm reading some places, there are actually people out there who think chloroquine is literally just poison and Trump will die because he's taking it. These are the people who think they are your intellectual superiors.

Killing yourself to own malaria
If only the faggots and ghetto trash would do the same to own aids

#HesLying is trending on the front page. Mostly people saying trump is lying about taking hydrochloriqune so that his "cult" will take it. And he wants his "cult" to take it because Trump has money invested in hydrochloriqune.

I thought that ridiculous conspiracy theory was debunked when people learned how much his investment was worth (about 40k dollars maximum).

Meanwhile nobody seems to be covering the conflict of interest that Gates has as a major backer of Remdesivir.

Star Wars is also based on Japanese media. Though George Lucas actually admits he took "inspiration" from Akira Kurosawa (the OG films are borderline plagiarized if you've seen the source material).

Basically, there are no original stories and the entertainment industries of the world have been copying one another since forever.

I'm convinced that the only mostly original property to come out in the last 40 years is Ghostbusters.

This has nothing to do with trump but there you go.

I dunno, the first Alien could've fooled me into thinking it was entirely an original property.

Without using google, can you name a single, solitary thing that Obama did to reduce swine flu deaths?

Be honest now...

Because it literally took the progressive movement to end that practice. Child labor was cheaper and they could fit into small places. Business would have continued to use them without government intervention.
No it didn't. Child labor was already decreasing by the time the progressive movement decided to jump in to claim credit for an existing trend. It's just a universal that as a society grows richer (through CAPITALISM) the need for child labor decreases and it becomes a wiser investment to higher actual adults.

The Matrix is a rip of of various anime most notably an episode of Ghost In the Shell. It's just that in the early 90s anime was somewhat obscure so nobody noticed the blatant plagiarism.
Speak for yourself.

But then at the time, a lot of the weeabos I knew of loved the Matrix for that. It was like a giant shout-out/reference fest for them.

I dunno, the first Alien could've fooled me into thinking it was entirely an original property.
It wasn't. There was an earlier movie that it ripped off.

Sorry to make you feel old, but Alien is more than 40 years old at this point.

It's still only 40 as of this post, so there!

Alien is just a remake of The Old Dark House, but in space. Also, its a remake of a sequence from the film Dark Star. Which makes sense since Dan O'Bannon worked on that film and wanted a full length film from that sequence. But a lot changed between the original script and the final film.

And that's only because Dan Aykroyd is a crazy autist who believes in the supernatural and aliens.

I believe Alien was a ripoff of the 1953 British show The Quatermass Experiment. Also when the script for Alien was pitched to studios, it was pitched as "Jaws in Space"

Eh, really, nothing's original anymore since only seven plots exist, so the same things are bound to be done again and again no matter how they revamp it for the audience of that era. I honestly don't care as long as it can bring original/fresh ideas to the table and remain engaging long after the credits roll. I mean, at the time they were filming it, were they envisioning it as a franchise or believed it was worthy enough of a franchise? I think that's the key in envisioning it being a stand-alone regardless of the loose threads that are left hanging around for the audience to grab onto.
