Waiting for Doucette to call it an absolute win for the defendants, when the guy is no longer a practicing attorney.
Funny that T Greg has become the thing he hated about Nick. A streaming lawyer

Only one is making about $800 a night, actually supports a family, and still an actively practicing lawyer.

What people see in the deadbeat dad, bankrupt one I’ll never understand.

I have to wonder why they didn't just ask for the original extension to be till June 19th in the first place.
Maybe they didn't thinkthey'd need it back then. Besides, it's better to ask for a small chunk and salami-slice your way to your goal than asking for the whole thing up front. A longer extension would have been a little more likely to be denied than a shorter one.

Probably thought there was a chance they could make it. Corona is playing hell with estimated timetables.

And obviously the COOF slowed things down more, lawfirms having to deal with a lot of other shit makes focusing on a brief hard.

Tbh I'm disappointed with both sides although it's somewhat understandable. Neither of them were prepared and both of them have been clownshoes in doing things on time. The defendants are obviously worse, at least MoRon, straight up blowing off a deadline and having to be tickled by the court even to recognize it.

This was supposed to be faster, and the appeals court itself has applied the accelerated schedule in applying deadlines. Even before everything got completely coofed up people were dragging their heels.

Not to complain too much but the procedural handling of the case by both sides has been pretty fucking abysmal.

The legal system once again exceeding my expectations.

Hopefully the Donkey Kong and Keemstar lawsuits will tide me over until I reincarnate in my next life and something substantial happens in the Vic suit.
Remember how everyone was annoyed that the exceptionalism never stopped with the Vic Suit? Okay now it has slowed down and you are complaining things aren't going stupidly again.

Dunno about the others, but I welcomed the stupidity.

Especially since most of it came from the defendants.
