There were also accounts claiming to be Anonymouse and StraightCashHomie in the chat for Nick's stream, though whether it was really them or just people larping is something I don't think we'll ever know. I'd at least bet on Anonymouse watching the stream though, even if it wasn't actually him in chat.
 
Hey guys I was just wondering what exactly it is about DSP that makes him so interesting to watch. For me, it's that he has all of the worst possible human characteristics which are all to the extreme: self-importance, arrogance, acts like this tough guy where nothing bothers him but in reality has the world's most fragile ego, entitlement, LAZY, greedy, lies constantly, and MANY MANY MORE. I guess it's just super interesting that any one human can have all of these characteristics simultaneously and be so oblivious to it. I'm curious to know what other people think. What is it about DSP that makes him such an interesting person to watch?

OTC ear drops don't have antibiotic medicine in them, so for him to get an antibiotic prescription he had to see a doctor. Also antibiotic ear drops would take longer than 1 to 2 hours to work and "completely relieve" "constant, stabbing ear pain" to the point you have "no pain". If you have an infection in your ear the only ear drops you should use are antibiotic ear drops as anything else just introduces more moisture into the environment in your ear that is harboring the infection.

Phil doesn't have an ear infection, he has an earache for some reason possibly related to his allergies and a massive hangover. He probably was congested and snorted his way into an earache and sent Kathy to get him some OTC ear drops from CVS because poor little baby Phil can't just take OTC analgesics he needs Mom 3.0 to seem like she's catering to his ouchies.

DSP once sent his fans to spam hate comments on my youtube channel when my playthrough of a game didn't get taken down and his did, so I like to see him suffer.

He's never called it a bad game AFAIK (as opposed to 8 which he has openly shit on) but if you listen to any of DSP's rambling mini-boomer segments about FF7 (sidenote the man loves the sound of his own fucking voice) you'll notice that he has no actual legitimate criticism for the game itself, all his rants revolve around the hype the game got at the time. He always brings up how it was the first FF game to be on disc, how Square left Nintendo because they were sticking with cartridges, how it released in America on 7th of the 7th 1997, how people only love it because it was their first FF game they played (never mind this same thing could be said about him and his favorite FF game being his first), how stores did a promotional gimmick of giving the first 50 customers a poster/map or some shit, how it was the first FF game to go 3D graphics etc etc.

He even admits he fell for the hype, he fell for the marketing scheme! Then he usually caps his rant off by talking about how at times the game drags and the ending made no sense to him, so the feeling I get is as he was playing FF7 the first time he was fine with it, then he got stuck in the middle of the game somewhere and got pissy, then he eventually finished the game and because he's a massive dipshit didn't understand the culmination of the plot, threw his hands up drunkenly and said "dood this game fucking SUCKS, the ending made no sense dood, anybody who likes this game is just a hypetrain fanboy!" and being the stubborn bacon-brained fuckwit he is never bothered to try and understand the game or why others liked it, instead psychoanalyzed the masses, crowned his own opinion as l33t and moved on with his life pretending to know anything about JRPGs.


If you watch this compilation you'll notice 99% of what he says is focused on the marketing and consumer reaction side of things. He has always been obsessed with going against consensus, the ultimate contrarian. It's part of why such an immense sped could also give off such a constant air of smugness his whole life. Like with anything there are many things FF7 could be criticized for, nothing is perfect, but Dave doesn't touch on anything that you could really even call a critique of the game itself, just the culture surrounding it.

TL;DR if you say previous FF games are superior in every way and also say FF7 is massively overrated, it drags and the plot makes no sense ("another thing that pissed me auf about da game... the ending, it's horrible!"), you are semantically saying basically the same thing. Not to mention the crossdressing Cloud scene has scarred him mentally for over a decade.


^ This clip is a pretty good example of the semantics, where he clearly dislikes the game but wants to ride the fence too.



Sidenote but I was randomly searching around for FF7 related DSP videos and came across this video of a guy in 2014 doing a FF7 playthrough and he titled it "DSP Strikes Again!" and the joke is he's referring to Don Corneo as DSP. Thought that was some amusing irony considering DSP's rants against that character lmao.
 
I would of thought he would of learnt something but since Phil is a retard, I guess not.

He decides to talk mad shit at a lawyer when a lawyer currently has his number and is in the process of raping him. He could of used this to create some breathing space, talk to nick and just live on but no.

I thought the theory was that he's skipping a stream because he engaged with Nick on Twitter, which will have some backlash, not that there was a detractor stream?

he was probably going to take a day off sometime this week to "rebuild" after his guild booted him. The "over the counter ear drops cured my ear gout" tweet is just added confirmation it was either not that bad or made up outright.

This isn't even the first time he's pulled this stunt, he did it with some other gacha game back in 2016 (I believe it was Dokkan battle but am not 100% sure).

In the 2016 midterm election cycle the Florida Governor election was framed by the national media as the closest proxy for that mythical Trump(DeSantis)/Bernie(Gilliam) match up you'll never get to see now. Millenials are one of the biggest generation populations ever thanks to them being children of actual baby boomers. Math says zoomers who spawn off a smaller by comparison GenX parents will be a smaller population representation unless something really resonates with them memetically is my guess? Yeah I like Sparkletor's postings here because I always get a hearty laugh reading them, but I agree, that was a total 'muh feels' post for injuries to others when obviously the point is DSP has not done physical harm to anybody, not that he leaves them undamaged by association completely or doesn't lighten their wallets to get his financial lifejacket out of the closet for an hour here and there.



Twitch should get rid of the users who are the accused problem, not the streams they just can't quit though. You would have a point if it was anyone other than DSP, DSP says that Terra from 6 is a strong character and that 6 has plenty of strong developed characters and that's why 7 to him is not as good because the characters aren't as developed, this is of course totally wrong. Anyone who calls Terra a strong woman with a developed character but then goes on to say Cloud is wishy-washy is an idiot who deserves to have his opinion ignored.

In short he dislikes 7 because of teh cross dressing scene and the fact that the plot requires you to follow along and characters that aren't one note.
