You know what gets me about Luke's skyscraper obsession? He doesn't even know what's in them!
He's mentioned more than once that his fantasy is living in a crowded, dystopian cyberpunk hive of humans crammed chock-a-block into high-rises. But in reality, those high-rises are mostly full of offices and gigantic luxury condos.

Look at the residential buildings on this "tallest list", they all have like 100 tenants. Luke's dream hive probably has less than 1000 full-time residents - they're probably the least dense places in the city.
If he wants crowded squalor, he should be sub-sub-subletting a condemned apartment from some illegals in a slum.

I have to admit, I'm actually starting to feel kinda sorry for the guy, even though he brought this completely on himself. A lot of the troons on this site lack the self-awareness to realize how hideous they are, or how unwelcome they make others feel. This moment of genuine self-hatred that isn't just "uwu im so sad give me likes" is so... un-lolcow-like on his part, even if it is centered around his autistic obsession with urban life and belief that he'll suddenly become a shriveled hag at 35 (spoiler alert: he already is one).

Christ, what an asshole. I mean, he’s always been self-centred, but now his thing is literally “we should end social distancing because I personally don’t care if people die.” While whining that he’s afraid of being killed. How can you be this lacking in self-awareness?

And somehow, through all of this crytyping, he can't realize that the person responsible for his failures and misery is himself. That's why Luke's a lolcow.

He reminds me of Keith Richards describing Mick Jagger in one of his old Playboy interviews, I wish I could find the actual text, but the gist is, "There's no there there." He doesn't really have a personality and he hardly has what you could call coherent thought processes. His brain is just stuck in a decaying orbit around four or five fixed ideas. Trains, skyscrapers, surgery, Trump, anime lesbian sex fantasies...I think that's about it?
