Anyone here going to that Kitchener Con? I looked up where it was and it was only 94 miles away...if I drive across Lake fucking Erie. Instead it's a 200 mile drive around it and have to waste time with tolls and border hopping and shite.

Lakes are fucking gay, man.

The few times I've been involved with conventions where Vic appeared this was never a thing either way. With what I know about conventions, I would GUESS that Vic look at a con schedule (go grab any random con schedule, I'll bet it's true for at least 75% of them) and noticed that there was several slots of free time on Sunday (because NOBODY wants to run a panel on Sunday because turnout is lowest and everyone: has left or is leaving or preparing to leave (or is hungover/passed out)). From my understanding Vic noted there's lots of people who are "unable" to go to church due to con so he decided to run a service and the majority of con Orgs would shrug and say "nothing better to do" and add it to the schedule.

And this is why this particular complaint is idiotic and makes me laugh at the claims of anti-Christian people. These events were literally things that you were NOT required to attend, could COMPLETELY ignore and if they weren't there, there wasn't going to be ANYTHING ELSE. And yet people bitch and moan about the Christians doing their thing. (and yeah, these are the same people that giggle with perverse glee over the hope that the convention shares space with a baptist conference so they can show how progressive they are by trying to freak out the Christians)

Once upon a time, Atheists just wanted to go their thing and didn't GAF what Christians were doing that didn't impact them. But then came social justice, the various 'freedom from' groups etc. AKA the Steve Schives Atheism + types. Hell even Sargon figured out where that militancy was all headed and found a new hobby.

It's just another aspect of the 'intersectionalism/no escapism.' None of these lobotomites ever came to grips with the reality that whether it's Christians or gamer/comicsgat ers/weeb warriors or even regular atheists, the intersectionalists are the perpetual minority.

Yet again

You just need a 2001 SRX with a big bore kit on methanol. 45 min shore to shore tops. Fun too.

This is basically the Equality (or now "Equity") argument and why, I think, things are getting so bad. People SAY that they just want everyone to treat each other equally because it sounds bad (and won't happen) if they say "I want my turn being the oppressor". This is the mob-mentality we're living with now.

Yeah, that's another example of "diva" behavior I didn't really get. I understand that it can be frustrating if there's a person on a project who insists on absolute perfection, but from what I've heard, Vic didn't even demand that many takes--only a couple at most. Again, annoying, but not a reason to be pissy at someone, especially since Vic isn't harming anyone by doing it.

In fact, considering how straining voice acting can be, it's likely that the only person who ACTUALLY got hurt by those multiple takes was Vic himself.

If Vic was the only one there that gave a damn and everyone else was just waiting to go get shit faced after work, that is probably where the problem came from. 4:45 on a Friday and Vic wants to do another take? Dear god.

I dont watch hangerons, what did Lynn hunt admit?

Come Geek Some is saying that Manjaw admitted that in addition to Vic, the controversies surrounding Ryan Kopf and John Leigh "should have been reported sooner" during her argument with Lynzee Loveridge (see @Nontransferable's posts in Manjaw's thread) and Come Geek Some is questioning why didn't SHE report anything sooner to appropriate authorities if she was privy to such info. Basically, Manjaw is a hypocrite (which she is).

Just for the record, we aren't suicidal.

AFAIK, the Sunday church panel thing was always something the convention offered to him, not anything he demanded. He's only ever asked for one stand-alone lecture with an autograph session to follow on the main day.

I said this back in September, but I have no idea why I did. Want to say was during Nick's stream and he had discussed it.

EDIT: From some of the other replies in that page, it could be the stream with Doug TenNaple.

Interesting. Vic has never stipulated in his contracts for his Sunday services. They are voluntary on the con's parts.

Get a boat car you plebeian.

From speaking to folks in conventions who worked with him, it lines up with that info they gave also. Vic never demands to have a Sunday school panel, but he's more than happy to do it if it's offered.

Tl;dr on it is that Manjaw is claiming that speaking up about something wrong years after the fact should be treated with skepticism while she's the one speaking up years after the fact to go after Vic. But she only applies this logic when going after other KV people.

Sloth from The Goonies has more charisma than you, you deformed chimp.
That's the second time in the past month that Ron "I Don't Recall" Toye has spoken to a person working at ANN, this time the writer of that slander article a year ago. Why have you been talking to these people lately, Ron? God, if only someone who secretly follows Toye can show us what he's actually saying.

Troons often make bad life choices. Oddly enough, their ability to think in a logically consistent manner isn't that great either. So gimmie a check in the "Not shocked" column.

I second this (that Vic didn't push faith panels).

Here is an email I received from him in 2015, asking if he was doing a faith panel at AWA. Notice how he said that THEY didn't schedule one. This is also when Faisal Ahmed took over. You can read into that what you want.
