Iggys art always looks like a deformed chibi, also I'm surprised by all the gay aqua teen hunger force fanart, apparently trans master shake and gay mooninites are rather popular.

I mean they did joke about master shake being wanting to be a woman in the series, i think (it's been a good while since I actually watched ATHF, so I could be wrong), hell frylock was "confirmed" trans in the movie , so I don't blame for HCing them as such, as for the moonites tho, IDK where that came from.

The main problem with doing fanart for something like this is there's nothing to go off of design-wise. (I've never seen Aqua Teen Hunger Force, do they have more detailed designs at any point on the show?)
 
To me a Shake is a Shake how would anything change if suddenly Master Shake was trans? Same for Frylock.
 
But then again these things are probably just jokes and probably not meant to be r

Only certain characters have detailed designs, key examples being Paul

and Markula 1579825906432.png As for the main Cast and Some other characters, they don't really have designs made to stand out, while they do have alt designs for Intros and Jokes,these changes were never permanent or cannon. But then again most character designs were made to be random, and it kinda depends on what you consider detailed .

I was referring specifically to the "Mooninites", and detailed as in not featureless 8-bit blobs.

Well in terms of the moonites they never really got or had detailed designs, since they're based older videogames like atari, so no, really the only thing people got to go off of was their personalities, and let's just say they're Sociopathic Assholes who fuck over everyone.

In the one intro "aqua unit patrol squad" they had a slightly different design for the theme.

Saw these on my twitter yesterday. The artist who drew these got into some drama since she head canons Jirou as some agender bullshit with he/him pronouns. Of course the artist is a he/him lesbian too.

You could make some interesting fanart from this theme. Regardless, my only point was that the art didn't seem to have any connection to the source material, and besides that, the neon colors are hard to look at.

Even in this person’s ugly fanart Jirou is female. They made her curvier than normal too. I guess the only excuse is the artist is 17 but still.
 
Destinymoon created a Cheetara redesign from Thundercats... Seems like she doesn't really know the actual character has SPEED based attacks. At least she didn't draw 2+ pride flag on this one.
