I don't know much about the endocrine system, so sorry if this a dumb question ...
Why do trannies need to keep on taking hormones, with how dangerous they are? Why can't FTMs take it until their face and body hair growth cycle starts and their voice breaks, and then stop? Why can MTFs take it until they get whatever breast and hip development, and then stop?
To use testosterone in a female body will activate androgen receptors to produce more body hair and produce more muscle mass. The side effects are that it atrophies many body components such as ovaries, they will shrink (causing infertility although takes years in females as opposed to males), uterine lining will atrophy leading to little to no periods, lack of estrogen will lead to thinning of the bones so Osteoporosis is likely. Tesosterone will largen the human heart which result in higher than normal blood pressure, higher chance of heart attacks/stroke especially if any underlying heart conditions in the family tree, Heart skrinking can be reversable but can take decades! Clitoris largening irreversable, Renal Failure likely due to excessive stress on the Kidneys, cirrhosis of the Liver is common. If they do not remove their uterus over time Cancer is likely due to Testosterone use.
To come off T as they like to call it will reverse hair growth, muscle growth and periods will return which causes them grief, voice will also return slowly back to normal although back to their original? hmm... doubtful.
Male's is the opposite, their voice will pitch up, it will return back deep if coming off Estrogen. Atrophy of the testes is likely leading to infertility, shrinking of the penis which is what they love, the shrinking of the prostate will also occur leading to impotentcy, but lover chance of prostate Cancer so a positive there I guess. Breast development will also start however it's limited due to males having less Breast muscle to begin with so A-Cup is maximum unless obese. Coming off Estrogen will likely reverse some of those things, but not all, there is a lot more things I could go on, I'm sure the problem check list for the SpaceX rocket launch has less on it than a Troon on Hormones tbh.
