Galarian Rapidash as a Unicorn (similar to normal Rapidash) and the new stage is is flying Pegasus Unicorn. Feels redundant, but it'd work.
I'm holding out for a unicorn like on heraldry and crests with the lion tail and cloven hooves. Makes sense with the English motif.

I'm not terribly salty about the new giant forms because after Megas new gimmicks don't really grab me. Alolan forms I liked since it introduced a little biodiversity and referenced island biology which is an actual thing. I just with the Johto starters got some attention every once in a while.

Snagged a dropbox of this November's leaked edition of GameInformer on Sword/Shield from /vp/. No new information, just a regular article about how they came up with environments and locales, the decision to cut lots of Pokemon being a difficult one, a way in-game to make your story Pokemon competitively viable without breeding, and how they think the new game will be the "ultimate Pokemon experience."

We'll just have to see if that statement holds true.
Unless it genetically modifies real animals so I can finally have my own Garbodr to suck my dick I will not call it ultimate.

Whatever Galar Rapidash looks like, I'll bet @Dunsparce will think it looks like Mr. Ed.

I mean, he somehow thought Alola Persian looked like Garfield.

Oh no no no NO NO HAHAHAHAHA

Can we get the new Pokemon info dump yet? Jeez, in 2007 we basically got all info within weeks of release date thanks to info miners and Prima Guide leaks.

There's only two things GF cares about anymore. That their characters, all of them who don't go by "Team", have a friendly little smile. And also, that all Gym Leaders and E4 members be named after a stupid pun regarding their type choice.

Could you imagine if pokemon were real and what horrible names people would actually give their kids? Oh boy. I'm sure someone has named their kid something pokemon related but the terrible things that would happen if they were real...

I get the feeling a real life Pokemon world would be a lot more dystopian than the games would have us believe. Even assuming legendaries aren't catchable normally, there's still plenty of regular mons with near nuke level capabilities. Psychic types would probably be the worst, dictators could all too easily utilize the more powerful ones to mind control the masses in any which way they choose. And that's even before getting into all the ecoterrorism the elementally-inclined types could render across the globe. And no, despite what GF would tell you no 10 year-old is going to stop that shit.

Whatever happened to that game that GF probably devoted some of these games' resources into? "Little Town Hero"? It got released a week ago and reviews on it are average at best...

Im pretty sure critics gave it an average score, but then people who were disappointed with Pokemon began review-bombing it despite having never played the game, and then the shills began reverse-bombing with perfect scores. You're probably gonna have to look into it on your own if you want a good picture of what you're actually gonna enjoy.

idk, even some critics that aren't up in arms about Dexit and whatnot didn't like the game either. I know the GameXplain review outright hated it.

It doesn't look like a particularly fun or gripping game in my eyes, I hope they made it with somewhat of an expectation that it was gonna flop instead of some kinda new earth-shattering IP, because even if critics were raving about it, its not very appealling to me, or most others I'd imagine.
