This is Brazil. Guy with the gun tries robbing schoolchildren and the mothers standing with them while waiting for the schoolbus. One of the mothers was an off-duty cop and shot him twice. Nobody was harmed but himself, and he later died from the wounds.

Naica Mine of the Mexican state of Chihuahua:

All those giant crystals are gypsum.
Both locations are neat in that they had the perfect conditions of heat and an influx of mineral rich water to continuously allow for crystal growth.
Geode of Pulpí is relatively cooled off now, so no worries for tourists.
But note that in the Naica Mine how everyone is wearing hazard suits and respirators?
58 °C (136 °F) with 90 to 99 percent humidity.
