All those giant crystals are gypsum.
Both locations are neat in that they had the perfect conditions of heat and an influx of mineral rich water to continuously allow for crystal growth.
Geode of Pulpí is relatively cooled off now, so no worries for tourists.
But note that in the Naica Mine how everyone is wearing hazard suits and respirators?
58 °C (136 °F) with 90 to 99 percent humidity.

At my first Job I worked an extra hour a day, did not take lunches, showed up early, and ended up preforming well beyond expectations. I used by own to build equipment for the lab I thought would help out just for the fun of it. Autism is a hell of a drug to be on
