Yeah, also I will be bothered forever if they never explore the damn brand on his eye. I wouldn't put it pass them that they killed him off as to not make him look more fleshed out or sympathetic.

So what I would have done is maybe go the same route, but show his downward spiral of sanity and when he gets killed, goes Grimm like that one RWBY artist who did the team and several other characters as grimmified beings.

Actually maybe showing his descent into one-dimensionalism is not such a good idea..

See, the FNDM is perfectly fine with him being a one dimensional villain because "duhhhh he was always a one-dimensional villain." No. No he wasn't. He was Blake's antagonist. What Cinder's become to Ruby and Jaune, what the Nucklavee was to Ren, Adam was to Blake. Eventually Yang got into this too, but Adam was always Blake's demon to exorcise. And they made him a flat-out nonce. An angry, homophobic incel Jetstream Sam/Raiden bastard child with two zippers too many.
 
I remember trying to get into RWBY and never being able to, the writing's always seemed like trash. I remember the early episodes being very stereotypical of what anime is perceived to be. The character designs are pretty solid, but given I can't even really get into the "good" part I don't think there's anything there for me

Man I’m trying my best to not sperg about my ideas for a reboot or a redo of the series. But yeah Blake’s deal with Adam is what I essentially love about BlackSun. As Adam was about making the Faunus equal or superior beings to humans through deadly force (as opposed to Ghira’s peaceful route and Sienna’s more aggressive route) and was probably raised in an environment that was very hostile to His kind, Sun hasn’t experienced that much difficultly being one and really only fighting when it’s called for. Not to mention that, while they both had chased her down, one of them did it out of worry for her, since she left her friends without even a warning (funny how that doesn’t seem that bad).

Bottom line: if Adam is Blake’s demon, Sun could be her guardian angel.

I'm not sure if this is the right one? But this tweet seems to make Fandom think "it's a confirm". I mean, it's the only statement so far I've known from Blake's VA on Adam behaviour.

Honestly I would expect the “Beast” to be Sun...of course I’m incredibly biased because I’m still mad about Bumblebee.

Also is it weird that my only view of this relationship is like a slightly less toxic version of her relationship with Adam?

Yang wanted to meet her mom. Supposedly Raven left shortly after giving birth to her.

I think it would have been better to have Yang stay at the bandit camp a few days, actually flesh Raven out more, show that Vernal was the daughter that Yang could never be.

Also in his character short, if you see his face when they are cheering him killing the humans, that is the face of a fat kid that didn't get picked last for a game of kickball. He was finally worth something.

He just became more extreme because people actually paid attention to him.
