Hey maybe Chris Roberts can sue disney for stealing his stuff?

StarCitizen_Idris-1.jpg

That open air weird hallway with plants I've sworn I've seen that shit before somewhere else. I think they're not allowing their real imagineers to work on this place.

Here is the ship's cockpit which looks more like something from Star Trek than Star Wars.

Wild speculation here, but The Expanse was briefly cancelled last year while they were working on the park and some of their sets were auctioned off before Amazon rescued them. STD picked up some, but is it possible that Disney got a hold of something because that looks a hell of a lot like the UNN warships on The Expanse?

I noticed that the set of the Section 31 ship looked a lot like the Agatha King but I thought Amazon bought the show before they started selling the sets.
By the way, I don't know if a lot of people are aware of that but the set of the Pegasus from Battlestar Galactica wasn't designed or built by the production crew, they actually bought it from a cancelled pilot for a Lost in Space reboot that was shot in the studio next to theirs. You can still see how the set was originally in the pilot on Youtube.

Auctions had kicked off and were going for several days before Amazon intervened, though they started off selling sets they didn't expect to re-use in a fourth season in case the show got salvaged at the last minute.

Apparently the STRONK WYMYN part of the MCU is now only supposed to last 1-2 years now. Whoever is running the show has rightfully realized that X-Men will make Disney more money than female thor. With Spiderman still being up in the air it's also thrown a wrench into Disney's whole plan. Sony after the announcement bought Insomniac studios the same people behind the Spiderman game as well as OG Spyro and Insomniac really isn't rotted from the inside like Blizzard and Bioware so you have a team of competent people that are able to turn out proper games to support Spiderman itself. There's also the fact that Hideo Kojima's hand is now in everything that Sony makes as an exclusive.

Star Wars is still proper fucked because nothing outside the movies are liked either. With the Prequel Trilogy you had shit like Episode 1 Racer, OG Battlefront, and the two KOTOR games all classics that have remained well remembered. Disney has jack shit with EA at the helm.

I think the monopoly is going to collapse on itself in some form.
Aren't the MCU movies handled by some lady who is triggered by the ''Men'' in X-men? I'd feel bad for MCU fans but after the Sony incident...yikes!

“Pants: Dark purple with a gold stripe up either side. Pressed and creased sharply down the middle, of course. Subtly flared at the hems over shined and waxed narrow-tip dewback-skin boots, sloping inward and tight toward the top. Tight enough for an bulge and insinuation of an ass; not so tight as to cut off circulation or impede a smooth cavort across the dance floor.”
oh shit Vic confirmed for Star Wars!

Wait, how?! Return of the Jedi is the sixth film...Solo can't happen before the fourth film.
I probably should've worded that better. The book starts off before Solo when Lando owned the Falcon but then it jumps years later to after ROTJ. However the years are very inconsistent, claiming that the pre-Solo part where Lando still owns the Falcon takes place 8 years before the Battle of Yavin and 15 years before ROTJ, but the events of Solo took place 10 years before Yavin and 8 years ago Han already owned the Falcon. The book can't keep track of its own time. Lando then states that the flashback took place 12 years ago despite saying 15 before, and Han then talks about his first encounter with his lesbian black wife from the Marvel comics 10 years ago to yellow yoda and claims he was in his early 20s at the time but 10 years ago he would be 30 according to the math in this book which is all wonky, and then its implied he's pushing 50 by the time Kylo Ren is born, who has a really awkward scene in this book where he somehow does a flashy mind trick on a droid despite being only 2 years old.

"Stop reading alien fart porn!"
Funny thing is "Varg" here is a genderfluid changeling who takes on the forms of either a black bald human woman or a tall bald green dude, usually preferring the black bald lady.

Why doesn't this gay bitter fatass leave Twitter?

Hidalgo can go suck a dick. The man is an insufferable cunt and his time under Disney has really shown what a scumbag he was all along. Forsaking even fans just to virtue signal or simply fucking up on every note.

Eh, I think he was trying to self-depricate, instead of being insulting to the guy.

It's just, I think, he didn't contemplate how it could be easily misinterpreted...

Why you would feel the need to even respond to that? I have no idea..

The guy is strange. His job used to be writing tabletop Star Wars stories for West End games & answering fan questions on Star Wars magazines. He was up there with Leland Chee, the Holocron Keeper of Lucasfilm, so he knows all about the EU and how much fans loved it. But apparently he harbored tard rage for years against George Lucas because of the Prequels, along with the rest of the early digital media & the nascent RLM channel, so that seems to have been his motivation for wanting George out of Star Wars. Pablo was overheard after doing a Star Wars podcast (I can't remember which one) sometime in either 2012 or 2014 where he said he wanted to wipe the EU from the timeline and "indoctrinate the new generation into our Star Wars." The guy listening in on this exchange blurted out how that was some Nazi propaganda shit and Pablo flipped his lid.

Fast forward to the historic Solo flop in May 2018, and there was all this talk about a secret 12 hour board meeting to discuss why Star Wars is failing. Pablo nervously asked James Gunn about it on Twitter, asking if "he should be worried about it," right before nuking his Twitter for the first time. Then a friend of his posted a cryptic message on Twitter responding to whatever happened in the aftermath of that, saying, "Pablo doesn't deserve this." So people thought he got shitcanned.

For all we know he was shitcanned then, but like with Rian Johnson's trilogy, we never got an official word. That's probably why he spends all his time making fun of fans, YouTubers, and cripples on Twitter in between posting Transformers sketches. Rian Johnson does the same kind of shit, actively looking for conversations about The Last Jedi and sneaking in high fives or childish jabs:

These people are all sad weirdoes, and Twitter is their circlejerk.

My first thought was, "What does this have to do with Star Wars," but then I have to ask what Pablo has to do with Star Wars at this point. But I have no doubt that was shade he was throwing at Ricky for some odd reason.

Its just a redesigned Corellian Corvette-class cruiser made to resemble a cruise ship but with smoother plain textures.
Not gonna lie, that ship design does look kinda sexy. And I'd say it does fit into its role and the setting.

Also there's apparently some kind of 2-night limit, not sure wtf is up with that.
Maybe they have to limit the stay to meet the high demand for the hotel rooms?
Can't even type this with a straight face.

That about covers the shittastic hotel.
Do you have images of the rooms? For one grand a night, I expect some really amazing shit, tbh. Fuck, for that money, every room should come with a dedicated virgin Twilek slave girl.

What I just realized, though, is that for something being billed like a high end cruise line...why the ever loving fuck are they having a port day at Batuu in-universe?
Well, they do need to empty their sewage tanks somewhere.

I wanna go sit at a sabacc table there and sip from Corellian ale while I watch the falthier races and bet on the Millenium Falcon with Lando right before a herd of them bursts out from behind the liquor cabinet and make me speel my drink.
Did you really just make a Deus Ex reference in 2019?
I knew you were an awesome guy!

So... after having read this text, what does the doctor say, when will this cringe-grimace go away, again?
Whoever wrote this should never be allowed to be in the same room as a typewriter, ffs.

Han couldn't even explain himself. Although, if that were actually Han Solo, he'd have just cut the preaching Gungan off, with either a statement or a blaster bolt, depending on who that Gungan is.

On top of that, Filoni's Clone Wars is solely responsible for the meme that the EU is full of contradictions and worthless (both of which apply more to the Disney canon). It irreparably destroyed the carefully crafted (and at times self-correcting) continuity of the EU by being considered a part of it, instead of being relegated to it's own separate TV canon. I don't have any examples on hand, but this guy sums it all up:

I think it's more because of the intermittent shows they have planned. Can't have people walking in while Kylo Ren is interrogating guests and throwing cast members around while standing on a chandelier. Need a controlled environment.

Off-topic, but if you think that's bad, you've never read a Tom King comic book (skip to 5:36 for the worst written comic book page in the world):

You know, I’ve notice that ESB has the same situation as Raging Bull and The Shining. Both are landmark movies that got mixed reviews upon release but are now classics.

Didn't I already show them? I think I remember posting their concept art somewhere after page 500 nearing the end of my GE info dump. They all have a BB-8 aesthetic with primary white and orange colors and devices resembling BB-8. I'd post it again but I really can't remember on page it was on and the search function sucks for me. I search for posts only by me and I'll get posts from everyone or no posts at all. Anyway, the rooms are divided into 3 classes, lower class, first class and captains cabins. First class resembles the concept art I posted before, I don't know what the captain cabins look like but both it and first class are even more stupidly expensive, and as for lower peasant class I do have a picture of the 3D model of the room.

Its a small room designed like a cruise ship room. It comes with one 2 person bed, 2 bunk bends, a closet and a bathroom. There's a window in front of the bed too that's actually a screen that shows outer space (there are many outer space themed hotels that have something similar). There's also a TV screen that's "interactive" where you can take on missions. The TV screen supposedly comes down from the ceiling. I hope its revealed that they're spying on guests through them for "customer analysis".

More detail of the bunk beds. I hope it's worth $1000 a night.

I remember watching those some time ago, and although my memory is fuzzy I remember enjoying the videos and were absolutely excellent, but my only issue was his view that George's direct input or approval somehow matters when concerning the value or importance of a piece of media that's well loved and did well (although claims that George had zero involvement with the old EU are bullshit to be sure), and its been used against Fordo a few times by new fans simply to "pwn" old fans, even though its ironic since George has even less input with Disney stuff. And speaking of Filoni Wars, I recall that many of the arguments against old canon started springing up more than usual around 2009-10 when Filoni Wars was at its peak, I mean sure there were inconsistencies in old stuff, but people like Chee, Pena and Luceno (but most especially Chee) always went the extra mile to correct everything and even fix bullshit, and that is some proud dedication to canon unlike with Disney. Anyway, what most bothered me at the time of around 2010 were people saying Genndy Wars was awful or mindless in comparison to Filoni Wars despite Genndy Wars feeling bigger and more realistic in its depiction of war, but even if you got that point across others still complained that the jedi were too powerful in Genndy Wars when really that's just how Genndy's does action and it truly makes the jedi live up to the legends about them and shows the power of the light side, then again the same people who made such arguments against Genndy were people like Dobson who were never pleased because "childhood ruined" and were always bitching except for when Disney took over. And although there were complaints from Genndy fans too, it was at least understandable since the show deviated heavily from Genndy's despite supposedly being inspired by it, along with retconning Grievous into an even bigger turd, scaling down battles and deviating a lot from not just the films but pre-existing media.

Also I forgot to post a pic of one of the hotel windows.

Like most Galaxy's Edge concept art, the real thing will be a lot smaller than the art.
