It's always been fascinating - and infuriating - to me, how gigantic the discrepencies between what different people can get away with on Twitter. If you have the right political bend, you can lie openly, send death threats, threaten people's families, harass people, violate state and federal law, have all of it covered in detail, and at best Twitter may make you delete a tweet or two. It's only the worst of the worst on the "right" side that Twitter ever takes meaningful action against, and for these, Twitter does nothing as they go and remake accounts and violate the rules openly.
But if you mildly inconvenience a public laughingstock like Brianna Wu in some fashion, such as pointing out when she's lied for the 14000th time, you will be fucking nuked from orbit and banned forever without so much as being told what in the fuck it was you did.
Twitter has some of the most egregious selective enforcement I've seen on the entire internet, with only ResetERA offering any meaningful counterpoint.
