"Dr. Belch said: I come here to get away from you people at the CWCiki Koala forum. Why are you here making trouble?"

in all honesty, if you were right here in front of me, I'd probably beat and strangle you."

I am picturing a movie about a man being stalked by the Eiffel Tower, who is sentient and involved in a massive conspiracy to ruin his life. He goes in for The Big Interview as a reporter at a Very Important Paper, only to find his potential employer, shaking hands with the Eiffel Tower, who now has a press badge and a little trilby with a "press" label sticking out of the band around it.

It's really, really funny to imagine.

"Everywhere I turn! It knows! It knows!"

While I don't regret my actions to date or any of the words I've said (that would require me to have feelings :tomgirl: :ween:), I do regret causing trouble for that forum and its inhabitants. @Treenbeen and the rest of them seem alright, and they had no idea they had a lunatic in their midst...like I said earlier, I can definitely see it from their point of view. We must seem like the aggressors to people who aren't coming at it with our mindset.

So yeah, sorry Treen. :) Still glad you came, because lols are like food: best when shared.

No need to apologize. I make my own choices, and I don't regret them.

Everything I have seen says that you are all perfectly willing to have civil discussions about pretty much any topic unless provoked from the other side, which has happened numerous times.

If they want to say that I started this, or that I have "shamed" myself, then that's their deal.

He mentions in his list of grievances that he and his mother are unable to drive into town to buy food when his brother fucks off with the family car. This made me wonder - don't they have any friends or neighbors who can help them out? Or are we looking at the Missouri branch of the Chandlers, loathed and shunned by all who know them?

Not only have I committed myself to dragging my feet on progress, but I will take as many people with me back to the cave as I can while the rest of the idiots run screaming and gibbering off the cliff. The left's tiny, backwards minds can't grasp that change doesn't have to always go forward-- it's a two-way street. Things can be changed back.
I saw The Croods the other day and now I'm imagining the bit where the Nic Cage character is trying to shove his family into a cave while the world is literally collapsing around them. Johnny is aware, isn't he, that a popular interpretation of the Allegory of the Cave is ignorance vs. enlightenment, and that "the cave" into which he wants to retreat represents a sheltered, miserable existence cut off from reality? That he views such a life as preferable to one of learning and gaining knowledge says quite a lot about him.

Also note that he describes The Left as having "tiny, backwards minds", which is a ridiculous judgment coming from him considering he views backwards thinking as a good thing, to the point where he states immediately after this invective that progress "doesn't have to go forward." :stupid:

Is that why he reads the forum constantly to see what we're saying about him?

(I kid, I kid. I'm aware that he keeps to his Patriot hugbox because he's afraid to engage with people who disagree with him and refuse to pat his butt. Once again, that's the fearless newspaperman we've all grown to love!)

What exactly caused this?

Iconoclast was kicked off his college paper for plagiarizing a Saturday Night Live sketch in a column. His defense against that has been that said sketch never even existed.

Someone posted a link to a YouTube video of the sketch, but someone else noted that it isn't viewable in the US, so Iconoclast said, "Well, since I can't see it, it doesn't exist

." So then I decided to help out by posting a link to the sketch on Yahoo video which is viewable in the US.

Anger and mental gymnastics ensued.

This sounds absolutely glorious.

Yeah, like I wrote in their shoutbox, if the consensus of the site is that they don't want me posting there, I won't. But I also noted that it's Iconoclast who has come here many times, and who has linked to here from there and to there from here, many times.

Admittedly this part of Iconoclast is something I don't know much about but it just see how they react to someone joining another forum is absolutely ridiculous.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I just don't think they understand the context of what's going on regarding our interaction with Iconoclast. He's portrayed the situation there as us cyberbullying him, which is false. They've just seen a few posts he's linked to from there of us making fun of him. They probably don't even know he's an LOLcow. So I think they probably viewed it as a betrayal of their long-standing group that @Treenbeen came here and posted in a forum that has been represented as some sort of "bully Iconoclast and Chris-Chan" site.

I'm a moderate liberal. The only thing "conservative" about Iconoclast is that he's reactionary in the sense that he essentially wants to rewind time back to 1996 for personal reasons. Everything else he says is fits the worst stereotypes of liberals perfectly.

Any link to the thread or screenshots of that shitshow, @Holdek ? I'd love to see it!

Unfortunately I didn't take any screenshots.

Firstly, Sweet can't drive, so whether he's allowed use of the car is a moot point. His mother can apparently drive, though.

It's my mother's...I don't drive. Not that I'd get much of a chance, even if I knew how, because my brother always seems to have it these days. Too much expense--I mean, I'd have to have my eyes checked, get new glasses, insurance, gas, plus find some cruddy little used Nissan or something for two or three K. Although I suppose I have to be brave when I'm in the car with him--he plays jungle music at top volume and has been known to drive with his knees, usu. while he crams greasy fast-food burgers and tacos down his throat....

As for whether they're the Missouri Chandlers...

JM Sweet said:
As it happens, my mother's birthday is the day before Valentine's Day, so we sort of celebrate them both as one big single holiday. She was a little bent out of shape because no one at church rememberd or congratulated her...though it was potluck Sunday, so we saved money on going out for a Birthentine's Day lunch.

If that was the case, you'd probably have not cowered in the face of both your mom getting attacked or actually fight back against your younger brother who seems to have nasty lung infections in between mainlining something that messes with him something fierce.

Also, I believe the proper term is R&B, Hip-Hop, or Rap. Not Jungle Music you leech and racist.

Boom. You ever notice it's the redneckier racists that use the term "jungle music?"

Is Jungle music a racist term for black music in American English :(

In the UK, jungle is a style of electronic music that fuses drum'n'bass with ragga and dancehall.

I guess it's far more likely that Sweet is being racist again than for his brother to be a fan of a mid 90s UK/Jamaican genre...

I'm guessing it's the racist version, because Sweets is racist and also I don't see him having any kind of knowledge of music beyond what might have been on the radio in the halcyon days of his youth.

I'm digging this actual jungle, though. :snorlax:

Exactly. People in a random bumfuck town in the midwest don't tend to enjoy old techno music.

That's all I've got. About half of it is me, sorry. I'm not too thrilled with some people over there right now.
Wouldn't not being on their forum all the time and being a productive member of society be considered a good thing? Like being a real patriot by making like better for other Americans and shit?

IDK they just seem like a retardedly pissy bunch.
