So it may just be that I'm watching every conference as opposed to just a few of them, but goddamn do they pander this much every year? It seems like every panel has had woke pandering and excessive """feels""". It's disgusting.
 
So far Doom, Elden Ring, Ghostwire, and CP2077 are the only games I care about
 
Square Enix I expect to be fairly boring Final Fantasy wise, maybe we'll get some stuff for FF7RE, but most people hate the new combat anyway so I doubt anyone will have fun with that. FF14 has a live letter in a couple days so nothing new there, they could show some trailers for people who haven't been paying attention to 14 for the last few weeks which those are fun and flashy, Sony already showed the Shadowbringers trailer from a couple months ago on their youtube channel.

I know a new mobile game was recently shown off that will be a SRPG like Tactics based off FF:BE, which meh I like mobile games, but mobile game trailers are really hard to make interesting unless you're already into that particular game. So I expect Square Enix stuff to be a rip, unless they want to expand on the new KH3 DLC.

I usually only watch the Nintendo conference because the other conferences drag too much or have too many things I have no interest in, but shitposting on here has been too much fun so I'll suffer here with everyone else.

Apparently leagues better. I've never played it personally. But also lol at them throwing shade at Game of Thrones

Holy shit that one dev was scared shitless to say that Chivalry 2 is a timed epic store exclusive.

Thankfully they already said they arent doing ff15 combat for 7, If we see anything today it will be reworked combat that just *looks* like ff15, but will probably play more like a normal action game. If they wanted to show something from shadowbringers they could tease something from the live letter. Or maybe they can show 16 since im pretty sure they most have started it LONG before 15 even came out.

I think the funniest thing is that Cyberpunk 2077, the most hyped game possibly of 2020, is 'coming soon' to the Epic Game store, with Steam and GoG getting it first.

Shopping cart coming about never. They had a roadmap where they were going to add a shopping cart in six months, but removed it with no timeline.
 
Microsoft's entire show was fucked from the jump because there was no time for any of the games to show anything substantial. Tales of Arise, 12 minutes, and Elden Ring all looked cool but we only got quick glimpses of them without any detail. The biggest games at the show all had big CG trailers and no gameplay despite some of them coming out this year. There was no substance.

Bethesda had lower lows but it showed some new stuff which is more than I can say of microsoft. Ghostwire set a good mood with a cool artstyle and in survival horror that's king, so I'm ok with just the trailer. Deathloop also had some interesting ideas in it's trailer and while I dislike dishonored Prey is a gem of a game so I'm optimistic. We saw no actual gameplay but those trailers gave an impression of a world and a look, and we'll likely see these games more somewhat soon, as opposed to starfield and ES6 which are 4 or 5 years away. Wolfenstein looked good because they seem to be getting more extravagant with your skill set, but 2 had some big difficulty problems so I want to see those smoothed out before committing. They ended on Doom which is easily the best showing of E3 so far so they at least did that right.
 
that ghost buster game looked cool i guess, but everything else shown so far is just generic strat, survival, or walking sim shit. Chivs 2 is also something i guess.
