None of this makes any sense because Chris doesn't make any sense. Chris wants to be a stay at home spouse supported by a wife with a good job, so "Chris wants to be a woman because they spend their husbands' money" doesn't really apply. Chris wants to be a woman, but doesn't do anything about it other than talking about it on Facebook. Chris wants to date straight women, despite identifying as a lesbian. It is a total soup of confusion.

My post crossed pixels with Marvin's. I would be fascinated if Chris was looking into gender reassignment surgery. I have always assumed Chris was adamantly opposed to seeing psychiatrists or psychologists.
 
He should add that he will be crowned "LOLCOW of the Year 2014".

That will get all the boyfriend free girls swooning.

Its entirely possible Chris has looked into some kind of dodgy hormone treatment you can buy online without an analysis. Considering Chris advertised himself as a sperm donor it's definitely possible he found a online shop selling hormones

Not adamantly opposed, it just coincides with his natural laziness.

Chris wants an easy fix to all his problems, so he chooses the beliefs that require the least effort.

Back in the day, when people told Chris to see a shrink, he said that Rocky was good enough. Chris went to church every week back then on his own. A shrink compared to a man of god? They're just being paid to talk at you, right? What's the difference? The man of god is a lot cheaper and easier for Chris.

In this case, however, Chris knows no doctor's going to cut off his duck without going through the proper procedure. So, if he needs to, Chris'll see the right doctors for his tomgirlism. (Only when he's exhausted all the easier, cheaper options first, of course.)

He'd have to leave the country for that, seems unlikely. He'd probably get a connection to some shady hormone dealer and just start injecting himself. Or try to inject himself once, it hurts, and he doesn't do it again.

Maybe, but Chris is also very ignorant about the options available to him and what he's supposed to do. Heh, another example of Chris trying to apply the minimal effort to the situation as possible: he's being lazy in researching the situation too.

To be honest, he's not going to succeed with any of this. Chris' timeline is: have Crystal, get duck cut off, be pretty girl. So he's not going to do anything serious until he has Crystal. Which obviously isn't going to happen.

Edit: Well, actually, he might look into hormones, maybe not realizing how it'll impact his ability to procreate.

Chris mentioned in an email to Thetan that he would like to wake up and magically be a girl. How much of his thinking about this is magical? Does he think he can just buy a few hormones and his duck will just fall off, or is he aware that surgery is a necessity?

Considering that he personally repierced his taint with a safety pin in order to maintain his "clit," and stuck a dildo up his ass to the point where it hurt his internal organs in an attempt to remove the feces from his rectum, I wouldn't put it past him to do something dangerous on his own, like sliding his duck into a cigar cutter :surprised:.

It's pretty clear to me that he wants to keep his duck and doesn't have any kind of genuine gender dysphoria. He can talk tribbing all he wants, but at the end of the day, what he is REALLY saying he wants is heterosexual sex with straight women.

Though considering Chris has no concept of consequence, there's little doubt that he does indeed think a sex change is easily reversible.

Chris is completely unable to comprehend sexuality. Like you said, he sees something said on TV and wants that. He can't comprehend what being transgender means.

In hindsight, maybe meeting Temple Grandin would have been good for him.
