They also track user agent (browser) and Device ID (phone model). Even if they got cute and used a browser on their phone instead of the Twitter app, Twitter would still have tracked that. The Device ID would be the same.

There's even subhashes that will track based upon updates, version, addons. It's super handy stuff lol.

My main question is mostly about the interrogatories for social media handles, etc.; is there really a sure way to determine if any one of these individuals omits any? Discovering sock puppets seems like it would be difficult, I’m not sure how that might be subpoenaed.

Also, recall that there seems to be many "friends and colleagues" handing gleefully passing information and leaking screencaps/docs to Nick and most likely Ty. While giving the opposition credit for being smart would be a stretch, IF they have any intelligence they would be paranoid as fuck that TY ALREADY KNOWS all of their aliases and handles. They're simply being given carte blanche to hang themselves if they leave anything out. Again, can't speak to their lack of intelligence, but a reasonable person probably isn't willing to bet the whole case on whether Ty's list of information is only 95% complete instead of 100% complete. That kind of error could end up costing hundreds of thousands to millions MORE dollars in damage and perjury charges.

If they had any intelligence, they would have quit weeks ago, or realistically not even done half of the stupid shit they did on Twitter. The people on the docket for round 2 at least had the brains to do their shady and illegal deeds out of the public eye or get minions to do much of their bidding. The people in round 1 should just be composted to save everyone the time and trouble. I know there's a joke about the "he needed killing" defense in Texas, but can you really kill something when it's already brain dead?

If there is a discrepency, they get to go to the judge and get the keys to the kingdom for blackened earth.

Literally filing discovery with the complaint itself strongly indicates a scorched earth approach. It isn't terribly common. It may be more common in Texas, but discovery, especially voluminous, complex discovery like this fired with the opening volley, really serves to bring home to the defendant that this is for real now.

Any lawyer who looks at this (and unless the defendants are fucking INSANE they are talking to lawyers right NOW) is going to view the situation as grave.

(and unless the defendants are fucking INSANE.........)
I like to remind you that one of their legitimate examples of sexual harassment was jellybean joke, the other one proudly called himself a cuck, and the company Funimation, in an extremely unprofessional and just plain exceptional manner, allowed them to continue to defaming Vic IN THE NAME OF FUNIMATION JUST TO GET GOOD BOY POINTS for months and thought there would be no consequences or legal ramifications for this.

Yeah, insane is an understatement.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t that aggressive act of filing discovery with the complaint generally a sign that they are extremely confident with the depth and breadth what information they already have, and are seeking discrepancies and perjury traps, rather than going on an investigatory fishing expedition. It’s basically “I double dog dare you to try and bullshit me! You have no idea how much I already know and can prove.”

Its even worse. They actually had a 'hit list' of 'probelmatic' men they wanted to get rid of with 'allegations' of sexual assault. Vic was first on the list. They picked him first because they thought he would just lie down while they burned his career. They basically assumed he would do roll over as his entire life and career were burned to the ground over nothing because they knew he was nice, which is damning in and of itself. A sexual predator isn't going to roll over.

They actually thought there would be no consequences to this. These people are insane because they don't live in the real world. They operate entirely in their own bubbles on Twitter. Honestly, if I were Vic, I would just tell the Beard to burn them all to the ground and just destroy them so they can't do this to anyone ever again. Not to mention if they were my co-worker for DECADES and pretended to be my friend and then did this? Shit, people have been murdered over less.

The problem with Social Media is that you actually think the world thinks the same way as you. It rots your brain because it insulates you from what actual people think. When actual people hear that a jellybean joke can get you fired, they're fucking horrified. I don't know how they think this will play in front of a jury. If I were Sony, I would not bail Funimation out, I'd let it burn and then clean house.

Well if you add that to Ty saying point blank that they have goods/leaks/etc., /telegraphing the intent for trapping them in their own web of BS on multiple occasions, I'd say it's a safe bet.

They're looking for actual information and documents, too. I think they fully expect the defendants to do a shit job of complying, outright refuse to comply, or otherwise do something that lets them file to compel and for sanctions.

The next step is also going to be fun. It's called Requests for Admission. This is when you present a series of factual statements in writing, such as factual statements that would constitute elements of the case against them, and request that they admit or deny them.

If they deny them and you can prove them at trial, they have to pay your attorney fees because you lied and were proven to have lied.

Funimation is almost wholly owned (95%) by Sony. It's their own property. They can't really just let it burn because that's their money.

If they have any sense they'll settle, fire everyone involved in this mess, and give Ty a contract for a dozen films guaranteed and a few million, and everyone involved can go back to making money like this:

Funimation threw money like this away for woke points? What the fuck?

Funimation has always been a very apparent dumpster fire, but it was headed by all accounts, someone who was very Republican. Once sold the CEO (Gen) stepped down to GM during the transition till he left towards an advisor role working with other companies to build relations (Feb 01,2019). Whats funnier is this at one point is the reason why Funi was able to get the rights to DB, or at least that is the rumor that has been going forever now.

Now the inmates have been allowed to run the roost from what it seems. So yea, woke points might be a bigger deal, and from all accounts based on the action (and lack there of) it only proves this statement.

A thought occurs.

What if Soye fills out his response to the court just as terribly as his complaint to the Texas Bar? Y'know with the half-assed and incomplete answers on the form that read like a 4th grade hall monitor writing a citation on the playground.

"What if"? That's guaranteed. His mouth has been writing checks he wouldn't possibly be able to cash-- literally just the fact that he won't be able to name at least 101 alleged victims and the location and date of each of the associated alleged incidents guarantees that he's going to be filling this out incorrectly.

Same reason Marvel/IDW and many non geek companies hurt their income doing the "Go Woke, Go Broke" thing. They are staffed with people with an agenda rather than a profit motive.

And what happens when he has to pay a lawyer to fly around the country during the deposition for EACH AND EVERY PERSON HE NAMES?

Say he names only 30 he pulls out of his ass. Thats $500 an hour for probably at least 16 hours including travel. Which is around $8,000, x 30 which is $240,000.

This is a man who incorrectly filled out ethics complaint forms twice. It's going to be a nightmare for his lawyer, and his lawyer's paralegal.

Wasn't Gen the only reason Toei even contracted with this trash fire of a company?

Isn't it a really bad sign that they INSTANTLY fucked up by lynching Vic the moment Gen left?

Yea, Im too tired and lazy to pull the info today, but the very popular rumor that is rampant is that Gen is a cousin with someone in Toei, and that is what assisted in them getting the DB license in the first place.

It's not even a rumor. It's in the first paragraph of the wiki on Funimation. Gen got a co-workers parents to sell their feed mill to fund Funimation after his uncle offered him the licensing.
The company was founded on June 14, 1994 by Japanese-born businessman Gen Fukunaga.[9] Fukunaga's uncle, Nagafumi Hori, was working as a producer for Toei Company; Hori approached Gen about licensing Dragon Ball to the United States. He proposed that if Fukunaga could start a production company and raise enough money, Toei Animation would license the rights to the franchise. Fukunaga met with co-worker Daniel Cocanougher whose family owned a feed mill in Decatur, Texas and convinced Cocanougher's family to sell their business and serve as an investor for his company. The company was originally formed in Silicon Valley, California as Funimation Productions in 1994, but eventually relocated to Flower Mound, Texas, located near Fort Worth.[10] They initially collaborated with other companies on Dragon Ball, such as BLT Productions, Ocean Studios, Pioneer and Saban Entertainment. By 1998, after two aborted attempts to bring the Dragon Ball franchise to a U.S. audience via first-run syndication, it finally found success through Cartoon Network's broadcast of the Dragon Ball Z series on its Toonami programming block, and the Dragon Ball phenomenon quickly grew in the United States as it had elsewhere. This led Funimation to license other anime to the U.S.

This doesn't sound outside of the realm of possibility for these idiots, but has anyone actually seen this list? Myabe someone posted it in main thread 500 pages ago, but I've not actually seen this and to the objective eye this has the same kind of incredulity that Soye's accusations of 100 victims calls to mind.

Now it's certainly not hard to believe that this actually exists given the behavior of several individuals to this point, but at the same time I don't want to start down the same path that makes PULL act like the batch of exceptional individuals that they are.

If Nick has brought this up or talked about its existence, I'll give it a lot more credence than I otherwise would, because Nick is pretty careful with what he'll talk about. I'm sure he's heard about it, but if he can't verify it, I wouldn't put much stake in it.

Regardless of whether it exists or not, these people are still worthless fucks. I almost hope that something like this can be shown to exist, because it will root out a deeper corruption that really needs to be purged, but at the same time I don't want to live in a fantasy land of delusional thinking that exists only to make me happy. That way lies the path to cowdom.

Well we know that based on his report on Ty to the bar that he will be able to provide the information correctly and with no error :)

Agreed but I'm thinking what they'll be fishing for will be round 2 corroboration and materials. Ty is great to listen to. He's disturbingly honest about himself and strategy (like the opening volley you mentioned is something he's on stream saying he loves doing but his team reigns him in a lot of the time if they think it's not the optimal play) but at the same time you get the distinct impression it's like a sweaty telling you their favorite "builds" and playstyle but knowing all that shit up front isn't going to save you across the gaming table from them because they're that good.
