I would GM a session, but I must warn I'm very inexperienced. I've literally GMed three times, each with a different system.Does KF have a gamers thread where people can meet up online or would that be antithetical for the power leveling rule?
It is entirely 100% OK that you don't post often. So far as I can tell everyone here prefers people make occasional high quality posts than spam a thread with low quality posts for the sake of posting.Appreciate the welcome. You probably won't see me post all too much though, much like Soye I prefer to watch.
I have a GURPS campaign scheduled to start something like 3 weeks from now, I think? I highly recommend Dungeon Fantasy. You can either get your D&D fix with fewer balance issues in regards to mages (just don't use sorcery, make mages buy their spells as powers and use magery as a power talent) or you can do what I love and go almost Darkest Dungeon with it. I GMd in various D&D systems (everything from 1e to 4e including a couple years of Pathfinder) and I love how violently lethal GURPS is. Yet played intelligently you rarely see players die. Reminds me of playing AD&D! All in the prep work and taking the right gear. Wear a helmet unless you want brained, lol.
Thanks for the advice and suggestions! So far I've gathered basic set and martial arts. Reading it is like a spiritual experience for my autism. Combat just makes so much sense.
