But I'm glad that Toon Makers never brought up the pilot for their own version of Sailor Moon...I thought of this too, except the wheelchair!
Thank goodness for that, much in the way Sunrise once dabbled in trying to Americanize SD Gundam themselves. It's like the Burger King Kids Club of cartoons there! But I'm glad that Toon Makers never brought up the pilot for their own version of Sailor Moon...
Yeah I know, I just didn't feel like naming it!It's called Doozy Bots.
For a parody, this IS good!Plus, I made a parody of what the 90's had to say about diversity and disability cliches from a certain askblog that I had gripes on.

I maintain that this girl's racebending edits of Disney princesses is some of the most well-done racebending I've ever seen.I think the funniest thing to me about these 'racebent' characters is that you usually can't tell what race they're supposed to be. They just pick a shade of brown from the color picker, splash it on the character, and say 'IT'S A POC!11". I like to call it wokewashing.
I think race/sex bending can be fun and interesting if it's done right. But most people just put some brown on a character and call it a day.
I've always loved these! A bit of research and technical skills can go a long way toward fascinating AU art of racebent characters. Too bad there have been some dumbasses who's accused OP of being "racist" in her depictions of Disney heroines...I maintain that this girl's racebending edits of Disney princesses is some of the most well-done racebending I've ever seen.

It's well done, the girls aren't caricatures, they haven't been made butt-ugly, and they actually show the culture of the race they've been bended into via their clothing. Also, they didn't exempt the nonwhite princesses from it. I wish tumblr did more of this type of "bending" instead of the crap they usually put out.![]()

Yo, that Celtic Avatar AU looks awesome! Do you know who drew it?I've always loved these! A bit of research and technical skills can go a long way toward fascinating AU art of racebent characters. On the topic of racebending done right, here are some of my favorite racebent art:

Sadly, this kind of content would never sit well with today's woke crowd for "whitewashing" ostensibly Asian characters.
I'm afraid I don'tYo, that Celtic Avatar AU looks awesome! Do you know who drew it?
I think I actually recognized the artist as the style looks similar to a person I follow on twitter. I'm like %40 sure this person drew the race bend. There a lot of similarities with how they draw facial expressions.I'm afraid I don'tI saved those from an imageboard with an AtLA dedicated channel over a decade ago. I'm not even sure if that imageboard, let alone that channel and its content, is still around in some capacity. Hell, I've no idea whether the original artist have a gallery of their work somewhere.
Anyway, here's the rest of the Celtic Avatar AU dump.
Now this I could get behind.I maintain that this girl's racebending edits of Disney princesses is some of the most well-done racebending I've ever seen.

Sad certainly. I wouldn't mind a Celtic take like that.I've always loved these! A bit of research and technical skills can go a long way toward fascinating AU art of racebent characters. Hilarious, Dave is usually the one who gets headcanon'd as a POC the most.
The sad part is is that this could almost have been a cool peice had the artist not fucked up her face and given her weird noodle limbs/hands/feet.

She looks like a deformed panda.

What's with the blushes on her fingers?
