I legitimately enjoy Herman Cain, I used to listen to his radio program and liked it when he'd substitute for Neal Boortz (whom I also liked - he had Angry Radio Grandpa as a high art form). The fact that he bounced back from stage 4 intestinal cancer, has led multiple successful business ventures, came up in Atlanta during the height of desegregation tension (his story about he and his brother drinking from a white's only fountain in Grant's department store will charm your damn socks off)...I liked his tax plan, and his campaign ads were hilarious (look for the one where he's dressed like a cowboy, and being threatened by a wraith: I'm not making this shit up).

I guess now he's going to be working at the Federal Reserve? Good. I'll miss hearing him speak and all but I'm glad he's got a gig where he can effect some policy.

I believe I asked already so forgive me but if there were a election between Bush and Obama, who would you all vote for?
Mickey Mouse. A vote between those two is like a vote between having your arms or your legs sawed off. One may have it's pros and cons over the other, but they're still going to be fucking sucky and painful all the same

How was Obama better than Dubya? I mean, he was essentially a black palette swap, he continued expanding government surveillance, continued getting us into stupid wars... he said different stupid things I suppose...

I mean, sure, the media panted Dubya as dumber than a horse's ass and Obama was the second coming of christ, but in actuality, were they that different?
Obama was better than Dubya before he was president and afterwards he was just better than Mitt Romney (but worse than Bush by a slight margin) who was arguably worse than Obama and otherwise that’s it.

They weren't very different at all. But at the time of the '08 election, nobody knew that. They just knew they hated Dubya and the Republican party for being represented by him. Obama, with his big promises, vague statements about policy, and symbolic importance was enough to hoodwink American voters.

Very hard question to answer. But if I had no choice between the two, I guess I would go with Bush, as much as I despise him. I have no doubt the Democrats, had they been in power, would have reacted almost identically to 9/11 (Patriot Act and all) and would have been listening to the same neocon warmonger advisors, so that puts them on equally hateworthy footing with the Republicans. But at least the Republicans wouldn't have dared to try and force the Affordable Care Act on the country, and at least the media would have held them accountable for their fuck-ups.

I don't like either but at least Bush didn't pretend to be an enlightened relatable technocrat that was totally radical and cool but also a genius who could see it all. Also Bush didn't have as hardcore a cult of personality.

I mentioned this a long time ago but what I think will truly open peoples eyes on Obama is if he gets outed as a violent sexual predator like Bill Cosby, who used rape to advance his power and political agenda (imagine the shitstorm if that happens).

Because of the media pushing their liberialism in our faces, Obama will be continued to be viewed as a saint for many, even though that his legacy has been destroyed by Trump.
Is there actually any evidence for this? It just seems like an oddly specific idea for you to come up with.

I believe there's dirt on Obama that if word got out would be devastating. Unfortunately, I don't have any information, nor do I know anyone with that information. But I believe something will come out about Obama. It always do.

oh, he's definitely got skeletons in his closet, but "I don't like his politics, ergo he's a kiddie diddler" is a hell of a reach

This is just random thought. There’s no evidence for it it was just me giving a example of Obama’s legacy being blindly worshipped by the left.

I just watched a Glenn Beck video, where he talked about a woman journalist who tweeted the words "Get your hands out of my pocket," during the SOTU. Which if any one of you know history, would know that those were the words used by the assassins of Malcom X. So basically, this woman wouldn't mind seeing President Trump being gunned down in a hail of bullets.

That is where we are in the world now. Where people wouldn't mind assassins attacking our president. I don't care what political party you are in, but talking about assassinating a president, is not something to joke about. I don't care if you find the President boring or evil or just a pig. You will respect our president. wither a male or a female president.

Unfortunately, I don't have the tweet of the woman journalist.

You're awfully optimistic. People have been saying shit like that about every president since... probably Washington.

And Americans aren't going to do anything you tell them they have to do. I am sick of the TDS 'tards as much as anyone, but I still like that about the U.S.

Luckily, NewsBusters happened to have this screenshot of the tweet so here you go. The woman journalist in question is Jemele Hill.

Gotta disagree with your point here. Sure, wishing assassination is too far (although it's fine to joke about, or at least as fine as it is to joke about anybody else getting shot) but I find the idea that the president deserves our respect for just over half the country deciding they were less shitty than the other candidate to be exceptional.

The president works for us, we don't owe them shit.

The only "respect" he gets is four years, no matter HOW bad a job he does, barring actual impeachable crimes.
