I've hated Time Traveling superheroes ever since Flashback was introduced in Silverhawks (There's a shitty reference for ya!)

If they can time travel fairly easily, then they basically get infinite do-overs, which cuts the drama down considerably.

Flashpoint used it very well in my opinion, because it showed that you shouldn’t be using time travel to selfishly make your life better only for everything around to change dramtically because of said butterfly effect.

All Endgame needs to do in terms of plot is to have a big, satisfying battle against Thanos to gain possession of the Gauntlet and undo stuff.

I don't like what I'm hearing about with time traveling. That's when things get needlessly convoluted.

And if Captain Marvel can do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, then why not just have her beat Thanos in the post credits scene or something and forget all about Endgame altogether? That would be less disappointing than sitting in a theater for two hours just so see the brand-new character outclass all of the other characters that we've grown to love over the past decade.

To be realistic, I feel Endgame won't have Captain Marvel solve everything because if that happened there would be immense PR backlash and Kevin Feige and the Russo Brothers are more savvy as to what their fans want than people like Kathleen Kennedy.

It will depends if they can stop themselves long enough to avoid going full/sjw long enough to not fuck up Endgame, Black Panther and Captain Marvel are big red flags Marvel studios is going to end like Disney, Marvel and Lucasfilms have become: Shallow husks that hate their tradional fanbases who churn out soulless trash topush a narrative to try and get other demographics that don't care for their product but to get told what they want hear/read which reaffirm their hatefulpoint of view

I have a feeling that Captain Marvel is gonna use her Binary form and, alongside Stormbreaker Thor and a maximally assnuked Hulk, be one of the final fighters against Thanos with the complete Infinity Gauntlet.

I wonder if that flick was more about talent scouting than anything else. You had Chris Evans, Aubrey Plaza and now Brie Larson all together before they were famous. Cant be a coincidence.

Scott Pilgrim was 2010. Chris Evans was in Fantastic Four in 2005. Aubrey Plaza was in Parks and Recreation starting in 2009. Brie Larson was never famous and never will be famous.

edit: Looked up Brie's IMDB out of curiosity. Surprisingly, I have seen her in something before. Brie appeared in the fourth season of Community as either Troy or Abed's love interest (don't remember that season and don't care to ever revisit it).

When Superhero movies were mostly white man it was fine to call them shitty, now that they include minorities the films are masterpieces and if you don't think so you're a fucking racist.

But there were superhero movies before that were complete garbage that featured women and minorities like Elektra, Catwoman, and Steel and it was perfectly fine to call them garbage but what's so special about these types of superhero movies now that people aren't allowed to call them bad? Did they cure blindness or cancer?

Jesus H. Christ.

Some people don't like this comic book shit. And even some who DO like this comic book shit are sick of the amount of comic book movies that come out every year. They have the right to have that opinion. It doesn't make them racist and it doesn't make them sexist just because they don't like the movie with the costumed hero making things go "pow pow" and "boom boom."

I personally love superheroes and comic books, but every year, I see myself wanting to distance myself from it all because of the mental INFANTS that are fans of it these days. And don't even get me started with the amoebas who write comic books these days altogether.

Funny how Aquaman did not pander for having the title character being of Polynesian ethnicity. Also both Arthur and Mera balanced each other rather than have one character upstage the other. That still did not stop Fandom from posting an article that called for a Mera solo film. It is fascinating to see how the marginalized hierarchy varies and never stays consistent.

The record breaking pre opening ticket sales could just be propaganda. And no, this is not me being in denial.

They said Solo broke records and made more than Black Panther before it came out...and we all know what the truth was in the end.

That being said even if the film does do well it's first weekend, it may not have as many rewatches which will decide how much it makes in the long run.
Couldn't this just mean that more and more people are buying tickets online and that more theaters are transitioning to seat reservations? I would expect every major release to break this record for a while as this shift takes place.
