Honestly, I worry that if he has a good enough lawyer, he'll get away entirely. I don't think there's indisputable proof he did anything with the dogs.

Don't get me wrong, we certainly have enough proof to convince anyone in a social context. But by the justice system's standards? There's nothing in the video uniquely tying him to it. There's no clear shot of his face. There's like a blurry shot of his jacket and a dog that looks like Koda.

They don't have a chain of possession of the video leading to his phone or anything.

His lawyer might legit say "tie my client to anything in that video or fuck off" and I think it's got a solid chance of working.

There is no definitive evidence of him fucking the dog, but in the text conversation he sends pictures of himself in his one of a kind fursuit, which is much as an identity as showing your face. If they came from the same account and there are claims of dog fucking with picture evidence included, I don't see how that isn't enough to book someone.

There's no victim to testify. There's no physical evidence. There's nothing proving that Kero filmed that video.

In the grand scheme of things, this isn't a particularly serious crime. (It should be taken more seriously, but unfortunately, that's not how things are.)

If any of these things change, Kero's chances go way down.

There's enough unfalsifiable forensic data to tie him to the crime already, sure. Let's hope it's all admissable.
 
I'm sure it's in the thread somewhere, but how old is Kero again? Is there any chance he was a minor whilst dogfucking?

Kero's birthday is May 15, 1995. The videos that surfaced were from 2013/2014, putting him at 18/19. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say he probably made videos prior to that to, as his family got Koda around 2011, maybe earlier. That's going back on how old Kero said he was in the logs.

Currently my own dog is reaching her last months of life due to age/disease and it pains my heart to think of having to put her down. And this sick fuck still molested his own dying dog, I truly wish this world was less shit and we could rid our gene pool from """people""" like Kero and the rest of these sick fucks seeing as both zoophiles and pedophiles have the same idea of their victims "consenting" to this shit.

I guess they've been long deleted by now or the hard drives destroyed.

Unless that is he's sold-on or given away computers or storage devices.

Deleted media can easily be recovered with the free Photorec app.
 
I still don't know why the huge telegram logs, that include video showing portions of the inside of his house, which in turn ties said logs to him, wouldn't be the big proof they need.

Because they're not looking for "proof". Yes, we know beyond a doubt that Kero abused his own dog Koda in ways that may have ultimately have lead to Koda's demise.
Why isn't this relevant? Because, apparently, there's a statute of limitations which means Kerofuck dindu nuffin despite his perverse crimes caught on video. The telegram logs mean nothing, just like proof of Kero feeding his own dog live mice means nothing, because of that. We all know he's guilty as fuck and a shitty pervert who abused his dog and fucked a dead deer and fox, but we're not the law.

Well if any of them were made while he was underage the feds could have a run at him. It's also worth noting that crimes involving sex with a minor, including distributing pornography depicting sex with a minor have no statue of limitations for federal charges per US Code 18 §3283.

Edit: Not saying that that there are any that fit the bill, or that the feds will go after him if there are. But, if there were videos that fit the bill, the feds could go after him. It's worth reiterating that PA has a good case on distribution.

He's been going for years. He's not on parole anymore, so Midwest isn't obligated to do anything about it, as much as I disagree. I wonder if the prosecuting office would be interested to know he's going to cons with minors in attendance, though.. I'll ask.

A minimal sense of decency isn't enforced anywhere. Take a look at any news station for proof of that.

If they aren't legally compelled to do something, they aren't going to do it. If they did, they'd be risking legal action and their self-interest is to spend their budget on future conventions, not legal battles.

"Convicted child molester" is not a protected class. A convicted child molester would be laughed out of court for suing for being excluded from any venue at all.
