So is this a thing then? Are some people just randomly getting extra codes? I've heard nothing of this before but it's not unbelievable. I mean if he's giving out codes then I can't fault him if they were given to him, accidentally or not.

If it is beta keys for a multiplayer thing they might be handing out extra keys to everyone because they want to stress test the servers. Either way, it looks like it is just a generic bonus key thing, not DSP or even Twitch related. I'm actually surprised Phil was able to put forth the barest minimum effort to promote his stream. I don't think he's put this much effort into something streaming related since putting up his birthday decorations.

Wasn't all of his SF5 videos demonetized on youtube? Are there paypigs that pay extra during the streams which is why he's doing another one?

I think it was a handful of recent ones, but I think you're spot on with the latter half. Phil mentioned in prestream that Tut went to other channels that were playing fighting games, so he may be interested in those. He also asserted (again) that he talked to Tut and Tut said he wouldn't be around for a while (likely a lie to save face if Tut doesn't come back). Phil probably hopes that SFV will attract him back and if he doesn't show, I think we'll see it disappear for a while.

I noticed the transparent title card was still there during the earlier stream (I wasn't paying attention to the salty second stream). Curiously, while still transparent, the webcam was no longer visible. My theory is that someone told him it was visible in the morning, and then by the evening, he found out about the video and was pissy as a result.

He's hoping that Tut comes back because he thinks it's SFV that attracted Tut to Phil in the first place (which may be true, worth a shot for Phil to try at least). If Tut doesn't show up, expect another self-pitying "Slow stream today, not a whole lot of participation, those bills are coming up soon... *sigh*" at the end of the day.

You mean that little clip from detractor videos? He looks stiff as fuck while doing his lame little dance. Even the whitest of white people don’t dance that stiff.

I remain convinced that his odd posture when standing is from him sucking in his gut and trying to make himself look physically imposing.

Yeah at the end of Monday's spiderman stream he said it was slow because people were getting burnt out on it and wanted variety or some shit. After Monday's dark souls stream he said it was slow because they have seen him play souls games 400 times. Tuesdays DQ11 stream was slow because almost no one likes JRPGs or whatever. Well, all we know for certain is that the slow "participation" and low "support" has absolutely nothing to do with him being an unbelievably terrible boring unfunny streamer who manipulates and abuses the few real fans he has left ( I realize we all know this already but have the people who unironically watch him seriously never watched anyone else on Twich? He is easily one of the worst people on the site, at least titty streamers give you something to look at, his facecam make his streams unwatchable, how can they look at that face for so long? I haven't watched every steamer there is but in my limited experience literally no one begs as much as him, hates his viewers as much as him, or hates video games as much as him).
At least at the end of the few streams that tut showed up for his "fans" (customers) didn't have to listen to him say that the stream was unsuccessful and he was unhappy because of thir failure. However, at the end of the blackout stream he said something like "everything was pretty good tonight" eventhough it had comparable viewership to Monday's spiderman stream. Almost like the only reason he got more cheers and tips was because Tevin was restreaming it, maybe? No, it was actually because he did so good at his "job" and was such an entertaining, professional video game streamer and Monday he just wasn't at the top of his game for some reason.
To quote Skinner from The Simpsons... "No, it's the children who are wrong".

I got curious how the new God of War plays. And after playing just a few hours I've got a completely new perspective on his playthrough of God of "Throw axes at every enemy for 5 hours". Sure, there are a few difficulty spikes where savety-throwing makes sense, but after that you should learn the battle system, use a lot of techniques and make use of BOY, learn when to dooodge, learn when to blaaahk, upgrade your arsenal and moves. It can get hectically but after learning how to play like a pro fighting game player with good reflexes, it's quite easy. There's no reason to keep throwing the axe!

How long does he need to fight those orks (?) with their giant elemental stones? 5 minutes? 10 minutes? 15? Dave couldn't fight them in close combat because they attack when he's close to them. And this hurts little Kratos and kills him. Holy shit, then just attack when there is an opportunity, dodge and block, these monsters go down in around a minute.

But what really astonished me was his way of solving this one "riddle" where you had to freeze the mechanism of a bridge (maybe you 'member). Which was the exact same "riddle" he got introduced to at least 3 times beforehand! The game explained it multiple times, you need maybe 4 seconds to go past through that and he needs minutes over minutes and the help of his chat. What the fuck! This guy is a lifelong CASUAL gamer, at best.

(No I don't know the solution to the non-riddle through his TIHYDP, it was just massively obvious).

The transparent background isn't even a bad idea, non-trolling-wise. You can slightly see the PS4 which is part of his streams and this makes the title card look more complex in the process. However the clinched text is still atrocious.

Also, Phil completely robbed me! I can't watch any Spider Man related detractor khantent without receiving spoilers. Hard life, man. Hard life.

Money wasn't vastly different than a typical stream (around $150-200), so I have no idea what he was talking about. Maybe trying to save face? That, or b/c he actually like Blackout, he was in a better mood. Who knows.

It was still there, just in a different place than it was during Monday's stream.

Couldn't Philip just get a smaller, more affordable home still in Washington?
Why does losing his big gated house mean he has to move across the country?

Just got asked who his favourite on-screen Spider-man is, says Tobey Maguire because "I grew up with him as Spider-man, dood! He was my generation's Spider-man!".

Manchild had turned 20 when the first Spider-man came out.

I think he was in a better mood. He was feeling so good about himself after giving away those free beta codes he got. It was the most charitable, selfless thing he has done since he unbanned that guy with a history of giving him a lot of money for free after they wrote that gay ass apology. Now he knows how Tut must have felt after he gifted all those subs. He just hopes they remember all he's done for them the next time he "really needs their help" (which will be tomorrow... c'mon he gave you guys free beta codes and YouTube screwed him over, you should all be thankful for him... but not Tut... he's gone now).
