Warren though... It's not like he was saying that he didn't believe us, which would be understandable, he was just completely refusing to engage with what we presented him. Even simple things to verify, like he told us that friends of his had been paid by Wu to accompany him to collect signatures. I told him that those payments weren't logged in Wu's accounts, and his response was "I'm sure they are" as if we were too incompetent to read public documents. Obviously Wu has no intent to actually defraud by failing to keep her accounts properly, it's just another symptom of the general laziness and chaos that surrounds her record keeping. The sums involved are almost certainly too trivial for the FEC to ever take her to court, so you'd think the response would be "oh, I'll check that out and we'll file a correction if mistakes were made." Instead it's complete denial without taking the five minutes it would take to see if the facts were on his side.

He really does seem to believe that watching Wu talk at a few dozen events over 6 months means he knows everything he would ever need to know about her. That her conversion to true believer "Berniecrat" is unquestionable, despite just a few short months ago she was saying that Bernie supporters were children unfit to sit at political table with the adults. That being able to supply some trivial answers to questions which basically boil down to "do you agree with me?" constitute rock solid, well thought out political positions that it would be completely impossible to fake.

I can see now why Warren is Wu's chief and really only supporter. He seems like he's a really easy mark. I guess he's lucky he doesn't really own anything, because his blind spot would make him very easy to take if a more malicious con artist were to latch on to him.

Warren isn’t a normal person, he clearly suffers from some type of mental illness. I’d also say for someone who’s so involved in local politics and activism he’s close to being a low information voter and blinded by hate and party identity.

To a low information voter, Wutard comes as the tranny version of Bernie. When you peel back the onion, you see it’s all a charade but low info voters don’t do that.

Warren works for Flynt/Wu in large part because the con artist falsely claims to support a $15-an-hour minimum wage.

Flynt/Wu pays Warren less than $335 a month.

Warren does not use metaphors.

I've never really thought of it in those terms, but you're right. It would be pretty reprehensible for someone to publicly espouse a $15 minimum wage and then not even model that in their own employees. Obviously with Wu it's just another lie that she's not really even conscious of telling, but if someone were to think she was actually serious then it looks pretty bad.

Warren's self-justification that his labour is worth basically nothing is pretty masochistic. From a purely practical point of view, even leaving aside the politics, you'd think he'd hold out for enough money to at least pay his bills. I'm kind of interested to know if he had to personally squeeze that second payment of 1000 bucks out of Wu, and whether Wu thought the first 1000 would be enough to cover his services for the whole campaign.

Yes Bernie does pay his interns $15 an hour
The amount which I get paid, I will leave to your detective work. If it's low, Bob Massie has a lot of unpaid staff and is progressive.
If it's high, Stephen Lynch pays his staffers a lot. Either way, not really a big deal IMO.
As to asking somebody questions and expecting them to respond in a friendly fashion, photoshopping dicks on pictures of them might not be the wisest course of action, lol.

That's a real roundabout way of avoiding the question.

I mean, either Wu pays you a fair wage, or he doesn't.

If Wu doesn't pay his own staff a fair wage, why should I believe he supports a $15 minimum wage?

You forget that Warren is stupid. We need to spell it out for him -- slowly and in words of one syllable.

Warren, (I know that's a long word, but you might know it) if you work ten hours a week, your pay is a bit more than eight bucks an hour. If you work more hours, your pay is less.

Got it?

If you make eight bucks an hour -- or less -- your boss is a con man. He pays you half of what he says is fair, half of what he wants the rest of us to pay.

I wonder if Warren is aware of how much work Wu is sticking him with by paying him as a contractor rather than as a proper employee.

Employees get their tax withheld from their take home pay, contractors get the joy of dealing with what they owe themselves. Here in the UK, treating Warren as an independent contractor would probably be illegal since there's a very narrow definition that we've been taking greater pains to enforce of late due to unscrupulous employers taking advantage of their workforce. I suspect even in Yankland, they're pushing it.

I wonder how it's possible to reconcile Wu's lazy structuring of her campaign dealings with her supposed experience as an entrepreneur? I mean, she ran Giant Spacekat for something like 4 years. I wonder if, in all that time, she ever had an accountant or proper payroll procedure? If she did, why didn't she just clone the structure of how she was working with Giant Spacekat to her political campaign? I get the impression that in Yankland you can get away with a hell of a lot of tax irregularities as long as you're a small time operator, that would get you many automated angry letters and fines from the Inland Revenue here. I wonder if Wu was as bad at keeping Giant Spacekat's accounts as she is with Wu for Congress.
 
Warren went on and on about drawing dicks on his face. He asked for it to happen.
One person and only one person said "haha here you go" and did it.
Now Warren refuses to talk and uses that as an excuse.
Warren is a liar.
 
I didn't expect anything of him. In fact, it was clear to me that his positive attitude was fake. It's all "ha-ha, I'm a silly pothead" shtick, he should grow out of around his 25th birthday. Somehow he failed to move on to adulthood, but now his fake positive attitude is covering up deep despair and denial of his wasted life. I think this might make Brianna relatable to him on some subconscious level. These guys live like they are going to live forever and never age. They both are in for a rude awakening.
