I haven’t met a furry artist yet who hasn’t played the ‘hey, I have to do draw this freaky furry sex stuff, otherwise I won’t get ~commissions~!”

And if you check their work load, and any of their online social media from that time. When they drew that art, you find that they’re turning people down for commissions and our “too busy“ to do their art. They don’t have to do any of this, whenever any artist draws something bizarre, disgusting, or just weird, they do it because they want to.

I remember I was once in the room when someone found in Thornwolf’s box of prints for sale art that she had drawn, of two giant fennecs taking a piss on a train. When this was brought to her attention she of course played the “you don’t understand! I had to draw that it, was a commission“ card, and watching her bluster and fumble and blush her way through that explanation was priceless.

This is disgusting. And it's blatant emotional manipulation and pressuring; he's basically telling her 'all the cool kids do it, so you should do it'.

Zaush will of course just say 'it's a doctored log, it's not true' but the fact it matches his known behavior and stories others have told about experiences with him would just reinforce that he's a predator and a liar as well

You could put this post into the farms' Polyamoury thread as well; this is one of the many reasons I hate the polyamorous crowd - they'll readily shame you for not being the same, and tell you that you're 'uptight' or 'have emotional problems' just because you don't want to be a slut like they are. Un-fucking-believable, especially in that assholes like that (and like Zaush) will be the first to scream about being slut-shamed by others.

But then being a hypocrite kind of goes hand in hand with being a furry anyways, so Zaush is covered, I guess.

It is, Dogtective, but I think we still can call it a victory. Usually the fly-under-the-radar, “we aren’t hurting anyone doing this” approach furries take get things like this buried. Patreon’s actions raise awareness and spread the word.

I wonder if the #metoo crowd can get pulled in on this. Pitting their fury and lack of concern for collateral damage might be effective against Zaush and his furry ilk, and the sheer drama would be damned funny besides.

Anyone trying this will probably be from the SJW crowd and will be the least qualified to make a statement. Just look at how sensationalized and off putting the petition is.

There are no good leaders or spokespeople for the entire fandom because those competent enough to pull it off recognize that it would be a full-time babysitting gig. That's on top of the fact that sexual predators took the positions of power years ago, to groom and subvert the fandom and chase off those who want to change the status quo.

That's why you sign a NDA if you become FA staff. They need that control.

It would definitely be fun to watch somebody try though
