Quite the pre-stream rant today from our fav lolcow.
Went on a for good 15 minutes today essentially blaming the Shadow of War lootbox controversy for his low views on stream. Pretty exceptional.

Some quotes:
"Youtubers are just making overdramatic videos about it, whining about it on Twitter. I've had enough of it. I like this game."
"User reviews are all negative, people are fucking sheep" User reviews on steam are 83% positive
"If you're a dumb sheep that follows one of these Drama YTers that slanders games because their ad rev is plummeting, you need to wake up"
"Im playing the game, Im enjoying it, but everyone I see on the internet is slandering the game"
"These people are ruining the game for anyone that is playing it and enjoying it"
"Im pissed, here I am enjoying it, I played all day yesterday, and the stream numbers are going down"

When I read his no sleep bitching, i knew this will happen. Its expected at this point. Its always somebody else...

People have said the game is really good but the microtransactions are bullshit. Shouldn't Mr. "The world isn't black and white" know you can do both?

Did he ever explain what a Texas style burger is? If you wanna talk about barbecue there are differences, but burgers are pretty much universally the same. The only difference is what toppings you put on it and that's a personal preference. Maybe you could argue there is a regional difference if there was one region that almost entirely made burgers with like half venison or something; a lot of places claim to put brisket or other shit in their burger to ramp up the price (which is stupid and doesn't change shit because brisket is still just beef), but again whatever you put in your ground meat comes down to personal preference.

I love how he thinks that Jim Sterling's reviews and rants are driven by YT ad money. He's driven solely by Patreon with YT monetization being a "bonus". Jimquisitions arent monetized at all.

And Sterling does shit on the game because of lootboxes. Same with TB. Both dislike microtransactions that affect gameplay. Especially in a single player game. If they're cosmetics, TB will differ from Sterling. But in this case, the boxes do affect gameplay
 
If he really wants to transition to a real „Full Time Streamer“ he should buy some more webcams, put them in every corner of his house and do it Big Brother style and stream 24 hours even when he‘s sleeping.

Him sleeping will be more interesting than his game streams tbh.

A Texas burger is pretty much just a cheeseburger with BBQ sauce on it. There's variations depending on location but it's generally accepted to use yellow cheddar, bacon, onion rings and BBQ sauce. You may or may not get those toppings and there may be others involved but the constant will always be BBQ sauce.

The stuff he does instead of sleeping at a decent time every night would be way more interesting than any video he's made in the past three or four months.

He probably would do that if someone tipped him the idea without thinking of the consequences. He would brag about how tough his adult life is when really we would see him just sit on his ass majority of the day. It would be boring and :horrifying:. He already has a Axe shower video along with his fap history. The life of DSP.
 
It's almost adorable how conceited and narcissistic he is. If his streams don't have any views... it can't ever possibly be because of him, oh no, either the game is bland and nobody cares about it, or the game is good, and he is having fun with it(Do notice how he always makes it so that him having fun with the game is all that matters, ever. If he is having fun, you should be enjoying his playthrough) but the views are low, then it's on the damned 'Other Youtubers', or the 'Damned Reviews who don't know jack shit' spewing bullshit about the game and thus tanking his viewership.
Oh, and it's never about the views. Never.

Hoo boy, you need to make an account on Fetlife, there you will see plenty of female DSPs that don't deliver content and the men that knowingly, willingly give them money.

Possibly OT/powerlevel but could describe some of the crazier of DSP fans:
I used to date someone who had being a findom as a sidegig, and I know the lengths these people go to to fulfill their wacky fetishes. (this included delivering games to your front door, which is another parallel to the behaviour of his fans.)

I found that many of the people who were involved with paypigging are very lonely people who have come to fetishize the idea of having to pay for attention, some form of a humiliation fetish it seems.
Another part of it could be the degree of control that the findom people would have over their lives but that kind of person seems a bit rarer, and I'm willing to bet that that kind of person only really does it in a relationship.

From what I understood this is part of Youtube's new policy which means unless your videos are making less than 10K views then monitization is turned off. I might be mistaken but I seem to recall something was said about this earlier this year when they changed their system.
