From what I know Phil still makes a fairly decent amount of money via YouTube. Although he acts like he isn't dependent on it anymore, its important to remember that he's basically pushed into a corner financially right now. $500-1000 less each month and he is forced to take a walk down shit street.

He's not yet had the kind of issue I'm talking about.

I think that Leanna moving out was probably the closest to it, but more something 'major' in the realm of health/finance etc.

No bank has sent repomen to his house yet, he's not had to go and visit his parents in hospital or something like that. There are a few things that can make even a person with their entire head in the sand be forced to take a critical look at things.

That always makes me feel sad. These people have such an ingrained habit of going to Phil's stream to chuck him money and watch him play video games, that even when he's not there all they have to do with their lives is turn up to chat with people like themselves and throw their money into a literal black hole.

If Phil has had his Vlogging Channel hit by demonetisation then Youtube really must hate him because I can't see anything that would force them to pull it from a channel where he just talks. He does himself no favours by constantly shit talking and acting like he's entitled to make a living from their website all the same. No matter how big a business they are, eventually someone there is going to notice.

His reaction was interesting. Mild disappointment and casually suggesting he might drop DSP tries it, probably the most favorite or only worthwhile thing left for many detractors and fans, as one would drop a week overdue carton of mayonnaise in the trash. Certainly doesn't seem like someone clinging on to financial solvency by the skin of his teeth week by week but who knows, I don't have a biznuss degree.

Suffice to say, Phil is a habitually liar (if not liar, then stretcher of his dong, I mean truth). I wonder with him admitting to his one video being demonetized, this will force more of his streamers to pity his existence even further. “Look, youtube is unfairly singling out Phil because he doesn’t conform like the rest of the other youtubers with their professionalism, detailed setups, and engaging commentary. Nope!” I wonder if this isn’t just part of a scheme for him to slowly walk away from his poor man’s run weekly whine fest of a series, and leverage his suckers more? HE’s done this before. You can look at any of his “emergency videos” dating back until 2016, where he claims “I might have to go look for a job…” but now, he never even mentions it. He has bank. He just wants more of it

I use to think the whole thing with findom and paypigs was an urban legend. I also used to think the idea of people possibly dumber than phil was an urban legend too.

I dunno maybe. Usually when YT/Google screws someone over its because its the typical big faceless corporation running on autopilot. The only group they really like to go out of their way to pursue are rightwingers. So if he decides to wear a MAGA hat or talk trash on feminism.
 
Can we just acknowledge how phil will pronounce things incorrectly seconds after the game pronounces said word.

For example in Shadow of War he calls Shelob (She-lob) Shelub (Shell-ub) the fucking game says her name like 100 times in the first 20 minutes and he still gets it wrong.

EDIT: Just noticed he said that Asscreed "kangs" edition is the most hyped game out of Wolfenstein and Mario oddessy...this man calls himself the common gamer and thinks generic creed 17 is more hyped than a new Mario Adventure game..

Well he always said the vlogging channel only made him a few hundred a month which he claimed wan't much money, but if he is a few hundred short on Patreon it is the end of the world. Hasn't been confirmed if the channel was blacklisted yet but if it is the paranoia that Dspgaming is next won't be too far behind. Lets face it he hated doing reviews because it took effort and he probably hated vlogging because it cut into his lay around time, but if Youtube strikes down his "bread and butter" we are in for one hell of a show.

So if Phil went on a tangent talking about illegal immigration on yesterdays prestream and how puerto ricans would move to Conneticut and take jobs or go on welfare that wouldn't do him any favors? Oh also Phil doesn't know puerto ricans are U.S citizens.
 
Something tells me dumb luck Phil won't ever have dspgaming demonitized. He recently stated that he still makes over $1,000 a month there. As close to the financial margins as he claims he is, $1,000 would be a lot to lose. But again, if it ever happened dumb luck Phil's cucked fans would just make up the difference. I don't know why it should bother me but it does. I wanna see that fucker squirm. YouTube drama has aways been a reliable source for dsp shenanigans. If that were to ever go away & his fans on twitch picked up the tab, he'd become that much more boring to watch.
 
If he were smart he'd just turn his hour long prestreams into their own kind of show and feature DSP tries it stuff, reviews of games and in depth explanations about how the fire detector inspector man took 6 minutes longer than expected because (insert 16 hour long tangent)

To be fair apparently he's lying awake right now stressing over his underperformance of the new Lord of the Rings game, literally a day after he said his August payments coming through meant he wouldn't have to beg for a long time, so I don't think he has the happiest or luckiest of lives right now. I don't mean this in a cruel way but Phil's current existence is suffering, whether he can do this to make a small living for himself or not.

That board exists to exclusively talk about DSP with a positive spin, not to call for actual productive growth or introspection.
