Axing DSP tries it would be a huge mistake. It's only good thing DSP has left. I bet he's considering it so he can hide what he eats from the detractors, but honestly he should keep it. He should bring back his cooking series as well but for whatever reason he is too stubborn to do so.
I honestly don't know why he doesn't bring back Cookin' with the King. Do it on stream first for the bits. He could even have it set up to where if he reaches a certain amount in donations, he'll put something crazy in the recipe, like jelly beans in his spaghetti.
Upload it to YouTube the next day on a new channel. BOOM!
Also DSP Tries It I have to agree is a pretty entertaining show. There is something magical about this guy trying to eat while holding a camera.
Such truth cannot be spoken on Phil's tumbleweed forums.
That board exists to exclusively talk about DSP with a positive spin, not to call for actual productive growth or introspection.
You spoke bravely and fell valiantly.
It doesn't matter. YouTube makes nothing for him now. Thanks to the mindless twitch atm viewers Phil could just switch right on over to streaming full time and make up for not doing YouTube at all anymore, somehow.
in the prestream today he was saying how he pretty much considers himself a full-time streamer already so i'm not sure how much more he would do if he just decided to stop uploading to dspgaming.

He milks the youtube cow until it is twice dead, and I am sure he is dreaming of having 100,000 videos uploaded to youtube. He has been shitting on YT a lot lately when last year the YT streaming was his saviour and twitch "a dead concept" but he was happy when he could live in a parasite's heaven.
Isn't that what he's already doing?
"EMERGENCY. I need your PARTICIPATION! Please give me Patreon, Tips, Bits, Subs and Teespring. If we get through <insert month> we should be okay or else I will lose my house!"
No idea if anyone ever came through with this, but here's my cap of the tweet & instagram image, so we can confirm it was posted on May 30th, before DSP admitted the relationship was over.
Patreon is no longer a bonus & is 'mandatory income' to 'pay my bills' so in DSP's mind he can't afford to spend anything from Patreon income on Patreon goals. I'm looking forward to DSP's reaction if he has to spend money on an HDMI adaptor or component capture device to record Mario Sunshine in January.
Where's your YouTube show about wrassling? You seem to watch a lot of it and know quite a bit about it, so why don't you at least try to make something out of it?
I don't think DSP really cares about wrestling. Back in the Rambo Response, the 1.5 hour audio recording of John Rambo & Howard talking about their time with DSP after he threw Rambo under the bus again in Thanksgiving 2015's Ask the King, one thing he brought up was that DSP asked Rambo when he'd be ready to do Smark Guys again, 'then I can start watching WWE again'. Implying DSP wasn't watching any wrestling until he could get back to Smark Guys & try to make some money off it with Rambo.
Is he really expecting this cash cow to last forever? He says that he doesn't expect to be doing it when he's older, the question then is what the fuck are you going to do Phil?
My best understanding of DSP's longterm plan was that he wanted to save up a large sum, perhaps $100Ks or even over $1mn so he could open a brick & mortar business... probably a restaurant. Madness since restaurants regularly fail, let alone with inexperienced owners. DSP's talked of working in electronics retail & as 'Continuous Improvement' in the helicopter company office... but not even waiting staff experience in restaurants. It'd be a trainwreck. Also the classic DSP line, 'There is no backup plan! There never was!' comes to mind.
Sort of a new topic but it's been brought to my attention that Phil is intending to re-play Bloodborne for a "redemption run" at the start of next year. The fact of which is quite hilarious, after you listen to this:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=id=JBJORzc32mE;m=18;s=3At the end of his rant he even low key give his mods the green light to BAN people who mention the game in his chat, by saying anyone who asks about it is a troll.
What kind of person says shit like that only to completely flip flop before the year is even finished??
This is part of what really fascinates me about DSP, he's whined in the past about people complaining when he flipflops yet it's fine for others... he doesn't understand that there's a big difference between:
Going from 'I don't like X' or 'I don't want to do X' to 'I like doing X now' AND
'Fuck X, that's pathetic, it'll make playthroughs unwatchable, Angry Joe is a loser if he needs Twitch 'tips' versus me being fine on YT alone, no one should cheer for attention, make friends or buy a hooker' to 'I like doing X, why would you dare claim I wouldn't?!? Fucking stupid idiot haters!'
Things he's flipflopped on: Having shoutouts or notifications in recorded playthroughs on YT, Twitch cheers, direct capture, Minecraft, even returning to Twitch ("good riddance" after the fake SWATing incident with trick2g) & now replaying Bloodborne. I don't recall if he was ever excessively negative over shilling T-shirts (now on Teespring) and LootCrate unboxings (that would be especially hypocritical, since DSP bought his first 6 months of LootCrates, he was NOT approached by LootCrate), but those 6 moments stick out to me right now, and there's probably a few more moments I've forgotten.
Here's the "good riddance, Twitch.tv" bit, it took over 20 minutes of a ~2 hour Hate Live back in August 2015:
Didn't he make fake glasses for one of the figures out of paper clips because he broke the original pair? Did he even put the figures up on a site or just ask his fans if anyone wanted his worthless junk? If this was 20 years ago Dsp would be investing all his Twitch money into Beanie Babies.
DSP fixed his TF2 Doctor statue like that since the glasses were broken, yes. https://youtu.be/nXRlEV3-YmQ?t=180 DSP even calls his damaged TF2 Red Medic "unique" because of the damage and his repair job, this is the original video on TKOHV so adblock away etc.
No, because he was too cheap to pay fee for that site. He told to his fans to send him an email if they are interested. Basicly he wanted to sell them without involving third party, cause he did not want to pay them.
DSP thought he'd get trolled more since people knew his eBay account, there was a video of someone mocking DSP over a winning bid for one of his East Coast Customs fightsticks? showing that they were a troll & weren't going to buy. So he just did private emails where people bid... & he still got trolled enough that he gave up. DSP could have just sucked up the loss selling them to a pawn shop or on Amazon, but that was too much effort for him.
Just noticed he said that Asscreed "kangs" edition is the most hyped game out of Wolfenstein and Mario oddessy...this man calls himself the common gamer and thinks generic creed 17 is more hyped than a new Mario Adventure game..
There's a simple reason for that: DSP knows for sure he can monetize Assassin's Creed Origins on YouTube. Mario Odyssey is obviously going to get ContentID claimed by Nintendo, but back in September DSP noticed The Evil Within 1 & one of the Wolfenstein MachineGames playthroughs getting mass demonetized, so he expects TEW2 & Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus to also be demonetized.
I would also expect South Park '2' to get demonetized too, I'm surprised Stick of Truth wasn't. Smart DSP would play Wolf2 as the midnight premiere, schedule AC Origins as the main stream the following day & then he can see if the Wolf2 videos are demonetized over night. If so, it can be backburnered & even dropped if he's desperate.
I do have an 'Archived Links' TXT file where I used to note down interesting TKOHForums threads & archive links for them if they got wiped, alas I have nothing specific for your post there. Good fucking luck finding it, assuming it even got archived it would be somewhere in these roughly THIRTY FIVE captures. You go have fun checking them.
Only as part of last year's Halloween marathon, he didn't like it & whined that viewership tanked during it. Beyond that the only thing I remember was a bunch of "Sledgehammer!" singing cringe, feel free to search out my video if you want to see some 'highlights' & the rant about viewership.

I work on a cooking show and can't stress to you how refreshing and hilarious it is to see how awful the food Phil prepares is. All of his recipes are made with ingredients that come pre-packaged and pre-portioned. He literally is only following package instructions in most of his cooking videos, and between his rambling and futzing with the camera, he somehow makes a 5 minute process take 25 or more. And the end result always looks like shit.
You have a brilliant idea here with the donation-incentive ingredients, and if Phil ever went ahead making this show, I would look forward to any and all cooking streams.

To be honest I was surprised his cooking wasn't all that terrible. Yes he uses pre-made processed food and he has like 0 technique, but watching that SoK Let's Endure was painful. That bunch of screaming autists made it seem like they were Gordon fucking Ramsay and that everything he made was slop. I doubt they do any cooking for themselves. Gotta give it to him at least Phil was trying.
DSP hasn't whined about that yet, so I'd be surprised if it got ContentID claimed - you know he'd be ranting and raving about the idiots at YouTube and the greedy music rights holders.
I've gotta note how poorly DSP's Twitch income is going so far this month, this is actually a record low for cheers/subs since he became a 'full time streamer' back in March. That plus the low attendance (he complained of only 200 viewers at the end of last night's late stream) got DSP rattled enough so he couldn't sleep until maybe 5am with these 2 whining tweets. From my tracking of his cheers/subs, it's just ~$2 less than June, which was DSP's worst Twitch month yet as a 'full time streamer'.
One last bit: Patreon. Still hasn't updated the page to show the PlayerUnknown's BattleGrounds goal, it's actually been stuck at $878 for 5+ days now. Also only up ~$20 since this time last month, almost $250 down from the goal.
Despite Phil's tendency to make the universe seem to revolve around him, everybody on YT currently seems to be getting hit. I've heard of a lot of people with videos getting demonetized for no apparent reason, so this really does just seem to be YT's usual tonedeafness rather than much of a targeted campaign against Phil.
>frying all-fat bacon
>touching raw bacon and not washing hands before touching the rest of the food
>touching raw eggs and not washing hands before touching the rest of the food
>pouring bacon grease in the toilet
>walking barefoot from bathroom to kitchen, then picking piece of bread from the ground
>dropping pepper on the worst-looking omelette I've ever seen
>"no time to melt butter, I'm a gamer, I'll just spray this natural Pam shit over the frying pan"
>frying pre-cooked hot dogs
>refreezing sausages after unfreezing them
>"gourmet" panini tuna salad swimming in Miracle Whip
>"authetic Texan-style" burger = Jack Daniel's premade barbecue sauce
>"yellow mayo"
That's just from the top of my head, not having watched those incompetent demonstrations of "cooking" in years. "Not all that terrible", you say? Perhaps compared to Masaokis.
EDIT: Just noticed he said that Asscreed "kangs" edition is the most hyped game out of Wolfenstein and Mario oddessy...this man calls himself the common gamer and thinks generic creed 17 is more hyped than a new Mario Adventure game..
Of course, follow the money.
Mario Odyssey = Nintendo = will get demonetized.
Wolfenstein = Nazi keywords = will get demonetized.
Assassins Creed = No evil keywords and not Nintendo =
Walking barefoot from bathroom to kitchen, with a pan full of boiling animal fat, then picking piece of bread from the ground. That would have been a siege defence a few centuries ago.

Yeah but only one of those possibilities is funny (well both depending on how you look at it), so I prefer to believe that Phil was stupid enough to make several videos calling YouTube shit and saying how much he "didn't need it anymore" just so they could clamp down on him.
