It's so nice that we have these people to tell us what is racist and what is not. It turns out Dr. Seuss books are hate symbols, which mean I've been giving hate symbols to children for years! I'd best burn these hateful books right away.

So... Will Dr. Seuss become the new symbol of white power? Will Cat in the Hat hats become the new Rebel Flag?

Please take note that the librarian who rejected them is shown here in a Cat in the Hat outfit.

First lady Melania Trump fired back Friday at a Massachusetts elementary school librarian who rejected her donation of Dr. Seuss books, claiming their illustrations are examples of “racist propaganda.”

“I wanted to send you a special gift. Dr. Seuss’s Oh, the Places You’ll Go! is a book my son and I have read over and over again, and one that we want to share with all of you,” the first lady wrote in her letter to students. “Please also remember that you are the future of America and that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.”

But despite the gesture, Liz Phipps Soeiro, a librarian at a public school in Cambridge, wrote a letter to the first lady, which was then published on The Horn Book blog, notifying Mrs. Trump that her school would “not be keeping the titles” for their collection, explaining that her school didn’t have a “NEED” for the books, due to her school and library’s “award-winning” status.

“I work in a district that has plenty of resources, which contributes directly to ‘excellence,’” Soeiro wrote. “My students have access to a school library with over nine thousand volumes and a librarian with a graduate degree in library science.”

Soeiro went on to slam the White House and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos for not gifting the books to “underfunded and underprivileged communities,” which she suggested “continue to be marginalized” by DeVos’ policies.

But Soeiro seemed to be the most offended by the books themselves.

“Another fact that many people are unaware of is that Dr. Seuss’s illustrations are steeped in racist propaganda, caricatures, and harmful stereotypes,” Soeiro wrote, giving examples of "If I Ran a Zoo" and "And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street" as clear “racist mockery” in Seuss’ art.

"If you were once racist, then you were always racist." - W O K E Idiot

Unless you're woke, but people I don't like can't really be woke, so, go back to Racisland you racist RACIST.

I always KNEW he was trouble.....

Michelle Obama did read those books http://ijr.com/the-declaration/2017...-racist-not-going-like-photos-michelle-obama/

But who is advising Melanie Trump--this library hardly needs any free books, and why would she be sending out so few books to only 1 school in each state?

Edited to add the now-scrubbed blog

That's the thing: I don't think anyone advised her to do it. I think she liked those books and was just genuinely trying to do something nice by donating them.

And this SJW bitch shit all over it just to "Fuck Drumph!" Virtue-signal. It's pretty disgusting.

It is just displeased that some fanart made fun of its horrendous earrings.

I do not like Dr. Suess books Mrs. Trump.

I would not read them in a school.

I would not read them by the pool.

I would not read them at a mall.

I would not read them by your husband's wall.

I would not read them here or there.

I would not read them anywhere!

Now Michelle Obama is in trouble for the same reasons:

Twitter accuses Michelle Obama of pushing 'racist' literature onto children

Former first lady Michelle Obama is facing accusations of pushing "racist" literature onto children by Twitter users after a school librarian rejected a donation of books from first lady Melania Trump and wrote a blog criticizing her literary choices.

Trump got heat Friday after Massachusetts school librarian Liz Phipps Soeiro declined several Dr. Seuss books donated by the first lady, claiming the material was "cliché" and based on "racist propaganda."

“Open one of his books (‘If I Ran a Zoo’ or ‘And to Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street,’ for example), and you’ll see the racist mockery in his art,” Soeiro wrote in an open letter to Trump, adding that the books were filled with “racist propaganda, caricatures, and harmful stereotypes.”

Now many online are jumping to Trump's defense by posting older photos of Michelle Obama reading children excerpts from Dr. Seuss books, arguing that the books weren't considered "racist" until President Trump was sworn into office.

Dr. Seuss ok when Michelle Obama read it to children but now has racist undertones when our First Lady donates books? Unreal," one user wrote, while another posted: "Amazing... the same books Michelle Obama read to children, are now racist books because Trump is President."

Later on Friday, the first lady fired back at the librarian who rejected her donation, with her director of communications calling Soeiro's response "unfortunate," according to FOX News.

"She has demonstrated this in both actions and words since her husband took office, and sending books to children across the country is but one example," Trump's spokeswoman told the outlet. "To turn the gesture of sending young students some books into something divisive is unfortunate, but the First Lady remains committed to her efforts on behalf of children everywhere."

And to Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street has Inuit in a sled pulled by a reindeer and an Indian king riding an elephant.

Yes, the following are “racist propaganda, caricatures, and harmful stereotypes”.

Are you kidding, I wouldn't be caught dead in that scarf! *shudder*

I see a bunch of left-wing news articles calling for a Suess ban, whilst smug blue checkmarks on Twitter are making light of the situation by tweeting out, "No, dumb Drumpf supporters, they're just ceasing from printing a few books due to racial overtones, they're not confiscating your guns Dr. Suess books"...you know, ignoring the op-ed articles from rags like WaPo and Newsweek actually advocating for banning them.
