Why do I have the feeling he somehow won't even know Joshua is a Mormon.
He's probably going to go with the "we are all brothers in Christ" thing. But it is very possible he misses that detail. Joshua is very lightly flavored Mormon with it mattering because he came from Utah and having the 1911 (invented by a famous Mormon gunsmith) be his "tribe's" signature weapon. IIRC he quotes the old testament a lot and some new testament stuff too. But I don't think he or the other missionary ever refer to the book of mormon at all, but it's been a hot minute since I played New Vegas.

Caesar does explicitly say Joshua was a Mormon missionary in the base game, but yea besides that it's never mentioned he's a Mormon in the actual DLC itself nor does it bring up Mormonism.

He is going to spend half of the video on Mormons and how they are totally a valid form of Christianity.
He's said things on Creepcast about Mormons that have had to be entirely cut out, so something tells me he's not particularly fond of them.

Man, I know Wendi has been going down hill for a while, but the 6 hour Joshua Graham character breakdown where he just screams "The only good Mormon is a dead Mormon!" and kills him over and over again was a bit much.

I want to hear what he said! Something tells me that I'd find it hilarious.

From what I understand, Mormons for Christianity are what Black Hebrew Israelites are for Judaism.
They are very close to muslims. They think some rando got a divine revelation by an angel that told them to write their little fan fiction that allows them to bang multiple women while denying the Trinity. The mormons literally split over if they should continue polygamy or not.

It would be funny if Wendi's crashout/scandal happened because of the LDS.

All the neo-puritans in and adjacent to his fandom narrow their eyes when he enjoys guns or Jesus and are ready to jump on him the very second he says a transphobia. They wouldn't immediately know how to process anti-Mormon sentiment, even with South Park shippers weighing in. Which side to jump in on?!

Mormons are white so they’re 100% safe targets. If he directed his ire at the far more blasphemous Muslims or the infinitely more blasphemous Jews then that’s a different story.
If his audience were hardcore redditors and if he went against Isreal than it would actually win him more fans, but since they're normie as fuck it would be somewhat of a scandal, they are white though so he'd probably be fine.

Tbf, there's already a lot of people with Wendifatigue.

It wouldn't be necessarily that people find umbrage on behalf of Mormons (in this hypothetical) nearly as much as an excuse to air how sick they are of him when everyone else is doing it. It happens very often. There's probably a good deal of people that don't care about the Casino but are happy making fun of Quarterpounder regardless and are willing to make common front with them for the opportunity.

Like just see the recent AI spergout. We have people here that agree with him and still called him an ass.

I feel Goons irritation with Hunter moaning after every bite. Fat fucker scarffed 3 of those bitches in like 10 minutes with no break. The banter was more enjoyable than the story by far. What a fucking slog.

Dude sees a dead girl who hung herself, and she's not important to the story at all other than to set up the author can see dead people.
Grandpappy gets smothered by the authors mom but that doesn't really matter because he bossed her around and was vaguely racist, the part that matters is our author can see and hear him, too.
Then our author runs a kid over while drunk and sees a vision of the boy everytime he drives by where the accident happened, and that's that. He doesn't tell the truth, he just willows in self pity. The end.

Was this written solely because this dude had the "ad mortem" shit in his head and thought it was deep? It's genuinely just the author going "woe is me" the entire time. Fuckin gay.

It's the standard nihilism affair: "there's nothing after death so I will do everything in my power to make my own life as much of a hell as the fate that will inevitably come upon me." It can be pretty depressing and overwhelming as horror but most of the time it quickly turns into a circlejerk of people wallowing in their own misery like in this story.

E: in this case the protag sabotaged his own life to the point he'd be better off killing himself but because he knows he's not going to ever escape his torment by doing so he's just stuck in a constant state of misery until he finally dies regardless. A modern tragedy, but with less symphathetic characters.

Alright story, good episode with plenty of hijinks.
I always had the feeling there was a ton of American media showing Mormons as "good people with quirky religion", even South Park did it.

My favorite Media representation of Mormonism is The Expanse where they're building a generational colony ship to go to another planet (which I believe gets stolen by the black nigger who was in charge of its construction to aid the belter nigger war effort).

The virgin "life is meaningless, the universe uncaring" vs. "the Chad "my ancestors build and destroyed civilization, giving life meaning is up to me".

At this point this is not scraping the bottom of the barrel, this is cracking the bottom open and then taking the earth bellow the barrel and pretending that there's still stuff inside the barrel.
