Trump is such a great ego check, or "social" IQ check. He is self absorbed, self agrandising, heck clearly has some megalomania.
Which to a person that's normal may be annoying at times but it's easy to navigate.
But if you have ego problems, especially if you're a narc you are going to get brain broken because you can't handle not being the center of attention and you will crash out when your discipline get's outstripped by your fee fees.

Epstein files are an irrelevant issue at this point. If it’s not something career-ending, then once it’s ~3 months out past its resolution it’ll be forgotten about. How many average voters do you think even still rememeber that we churro’d Maduro back in January? Once this Iran affair is over and gas prices go back to normal people will forget they were ever mad about it within a few months.

100%. The only thing going against the GOP now is general TDS and Trump fatigue. I've noticed lately he seems to be a lot less all over the place, which is good. He obviously looks pretty worn out and is aging more of course. The main thing that'll decide the midterms will be anything that happens the month before. Americans have never had long political memories but it's worse than ever. The entire country is fairly nigger-rigged when it comes to seeing beyond the immediate past and future on things.

A lot of things that are considered 'incredible crisis!' really aren't all that big of a deal for long. To me that there are GOP candidates that have a plausible chance now in California tells me a lot. The dems just have nobody with any charisma. Even if you don't care much about policy and only go for appearance (which is probably 50% these days) the dems are so unlikable now. You can just at Newsom, Porter, Jeffries and they just have the 'ick' factor that so many can't stand now.

Ok you're right, 'very conservative' is more like it. Name anything on his list of policies that's 'bad' in any way at all. All you care about is what my previous post was about, the most gen Z-esque surface level nonsense possible. At best you could say he's just lying on all this, but that's a risk I'd be willing to take.
